Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Lifts Ban On Flower Garland & Flowers; To Allow Them Inside Samadhi Mandir - Courtesy: SSST, Shirdi Press Release Dated 13th June 2025 In the wake of an threat mail received on May 2, 2025, as well as due to the tension between India and Pakistan, a temporary ban on carrying garlands, flowers, bouquets, prasad, shawls, etc inside Shri Saibaba Samadhi Mandir had been imposed from 11th May 2025 for security reasons. As per the new order issued today, only garlands and flowers will be allowed to be offered at the Samadhi Mandir from 13th June 2025. However, it will be mandatory for devotees to show the receipt of the purchased garlands and flowers while entering at the Entry gates. Also, the ban on Prasad, Shawls and other worship materials will remain in force as before. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has appealed to all Sai devotees to co-operate with the security measures of Sansthan. A New 108 Foot Tall Flag Post With Grand National Flag Erected Inside Shirdi Temple Complex - Courtesy: SSST, Shirdi Press Release Dated 12th June 2025 A new 108 foot tall flag post with a grand national flag was erected with the donation from "Flag Foundation of India" near Gate No. 01 inside Shri Saibaba Temple Complex on Thursday, 12th June 2025. The function was held with great enthusiasm in the morning. In observance of World Eye Donation Day, Shri Saibaba Sansthan's Shri Sainath Hospital organized various activities and programs on June 10, 2025 at 11 am to celebrate World Eye Donation Day. On this occasion, Shri Saibaba Sansthan felicitated the families of eight eye donors who donated eyes at Shri Sainath Eye Bank as well as 11 patients who received eye transplants. Speaking on this occasion, Shri.Gadilkar appealed to take the eye donation movement forward with greater vigor to each and every household. During the felicitation of eye donor's family, the families of eye donors Kum.Sahil Prashant Doshi, aged 12 years and Kum.Divya Prashant Doshi, aged 15 years from Malharwadi were felicitated jointly by grandmother, grandfather, father, sister and Chief Executive Officer. The entire gathering along with the family members became emotional on the occasion. Dwarka Dokhe, a resident of Ahilyanagar district and currently working as Police Inspector with Maharashtra Police Force at Thane, Mumbai, successfully scaled the world's fourth highest peak Mount Lhotse and hoisted a shawl with the Indian tricolor and a photograph of Shri Sai Baba on the summit. "Chanting the name of Sai" she brought glory to not only Maharashtra State but also to the whole of India at the international level. This expedition is extremely difficult and daring and requires immense physical and mental preparation. Facing challenges of harsh Himalayan climate with extreme cold and low oxygen, Smt.Dokhe demonstrated her strong faith, loyalty and determination. Expressing their utmost faith and devotion, five Sai devotee families from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in South India donated five different sculptures of Shri Sai Baba to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan on Friday, 6th June 2025. These five sculptures were unveiled by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Chief Executive Officer Shri.Goraksh Gadilkar, (IAS) and the concerned donors Sai devotees. All these five sculptures which are artistic masterpiece have been installed at various places. The sculpture of Shri Sai Baba sitting on a stone donated by Shri K.Mohan Reddy and Smt. K.Sridevi from Hyderabad, Telangana and the sculpture of Shri Sai Baba sitting on a rock stone donated by Shri.Prakash Channavar and Smt.Geeta Channavar from Secunderabad, Telangana were installed in the new Darshan queue complex. The sculpture of Sai Baba sitting on a stone and giving blessings donated by Shri.A.Venugopal and Smt. A. Shobha from Korutala Village, Telangana was installed in the new educational complex. Shri Saibaba Hospital Doctors Successfully Perform Complicated Heart Surgery - Courtesy: SSST, Shirdi Press Release Dated 2nd June 2025 An extremely complicated heart surgery was successfully performed at Shri Saibaba Hospital in Shirdi and the patient returned home safely after complete recovery. P Shri.Prahlad Mahajan Sakhre aged 65 years from Chandola village in Nanded district had suffered a severe heart attack and had developed a hole in the wall of his heart (Ventricular Septal Rupture). Despite visits to several renowned hospitals in this complicated condition, the doctors had refused to perform surgery considering the risk of surgery on the patient. As a last resort, Shri.Prahlad Mahajan Sakhre rushed to Shri Sai Baba Hospital. Even Here the doctors explained the potential risks involved in the surgery and sought family's consent. With total faith in Sai Baba, the family gave permission for the surgery. Accordingly, the patient was admitted on 24th May 2025 and the surgery was successful under the guidance of Cardiac Surgeon Dr.Shreyas Potdar, Neurologist Dr.Gayatri Lakshmi Nagpure, Intensive Care Specialist Dr.Vijay Narode, Neurosurgeon Dr.Mukund Chaudhary and Cardiologist Dr.Nilesh Jadhav. This was first such surgery conducted at Shri Saibaba Hospital. The patient recovered completely and was discharged on 2nd June 2025. Patient's brother, Shri.Khushalrao Sakhre, expressed special gratitude to the doctors with tears of joy. However, today's incident definitely needs a special mention. Shri.Ganesh Jadhav's eye donation who was aged 32 years hailing from Nimgaon, Rahata Taluk gave new vision to two blind people. Shri.Ganesh Jadhav passed away while being treated at Shri Sainath Hospital. After the incident, Shri.Bhausaheb, Shri.Santosh and his wife Smt.Jyoti decided to donate Shri.Ganesh Jadhav's eyes with the consent of the entire family. Accordingly, The hospital doctors and eye care team performed the procedure promptly. Two ITI Trainee Students From Sansthan Educational Institution Gets Job Offer along with Higher Studies In Germany - Courtesy: SSST, Shirdi Press Release Dated 17th May 2025 Two Trainee Students from Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi run "Shri Sai Baba Industrial Training Institute, Shirdi" have been selected for a double degree course along with employment in Germany. They have also received appointment letters. A total of 10 trainees have been selected from the state of Maharashtra including ITI Machinist Grinder trainee Shri.Omkar Rajendra Parbhane and Fitter trainee Shri. Karan Sanjay Shinde. Most of the trainees who undergo training at Shri Sai Baba Industrial Training Institute are from rural areas and belong to economically weaker sections. Towards this initiative, Sansthan has started the process of selecting nationally renowned and experienced eduicational institutions. This institution should have at least 10 years of experience and its staff should include IITians/NITians. This is a basic condition towards imparting quality education so that the students can get quality guidance. It is worth mentioning here that students who score more than 90 percent marks in 10th standard from Sansthan's educational institutions will be given completely free admission for MHT-CET coaching classes. The schools run under auspices of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan have achieved impressive success in the 10th and 12th examinations conducted by the Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination Board. Many devotees offer various types of donations at the lotus feet of Shri Sai Baba with utmost faith. Shri.Goraksh Gadilkar, Sansthan Chief Executive Officer informed media persons that with a view to increase the services and facilities for donor Sai devotees, a revised donation policy has recently been approved by the Honorable Ad Hoc Committee. According to this decision, apart from four major festivals celebrated by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan, various types of services and facilities will be provided to the donor Sai devotees according to the category of their donation like Special Darshan-Aarti facilitiey, shawl and photo as a reward, Sai Charitra, Udi-Ladu Prasad, food pass, etc. With this policy, Sansthan is trying to provide better facilities to Sai devotees. His death has cast grief among the entire film industry and Sai devotees. Shri.Manoj Kumar, known for his patriotic films, created a lasting impression on the audience with films like Shaheed, Upkaar, Purab Aur Paschim and Roti Kapda Aur Makaan. His role in 1977 film "Shirdi Ke Saibaba" held a special place amongst Sai devotees. He portrayed the transformation journey of a doctor who came with a doubt to Shirdi and later developed deep faith in Sai Baba in a heartwarming manner. This film undoubtedly led to an increase in faith on Shirdi Sai Baba across the Country and the Globe as well. In honor of his invaluable contribution, the main road, Pimpalwadi Road in Shirdi, has been named “Manoj Kumar Goswami Road”. Shri Sai Baba Sanstha has sent invitation cards of Shri Ram Navami festival to 1,73,034 member devotees and has invited them through e-mail as well. Preparations for the Shri Rama Navami festival have been completed. Dwarakamai Mandal, Mumbai have erected a magnificent cutout of Lord Gajmukh Ganapati at the entrance of Gate No.4. Also, Dwarakamai Mandal Mumbai and Mumbai based Sai devotee Shri.Kapil Chadha have made attractive electric lighting decoration. An attractive flower decoration will be done with the generous donation from Saudi Arabia based Sai devotee Shri.Venkata Subramanian. Chief Executive Officer Shri.Goraksh Gadilkar also informed that during the three day period of festival, various religious and cultural programmes have been organized. Shri.Gadilkar said that Shri Rama Navami Festival was started way back in 1911 with the permission of Shri Sai Baba. Since then, this festival is celebrated in Shirdi with great enthusiasm. 87 palanquins groups have registered with Sansthan and are coming from different parts of India for the Shri Ram Navami festival. Considering possible heavy rush of devotees during the festival, with a view to provide smooth darshan and in order to protect devotees from heat, about 67,409 square feet Mantap have been erected inside temple area, Mangal Karyalaya, Sainagar Grounds and other places. Also, in order to provide additional accommodation to Sai devotees, about 38,790 square feet Mantap has been erected at Sai Bhaktaniwas Guest House (500 rooms), Sai Dharmashala and Sainagar Grounds by providing all amenities like Beds, water, electricity, Toilets and Security arrangements. In addition to this, in order to fecilitate accommodation for Padayatris who come along with Palanquins from Mumbai and surrounding areas like Khardi, Golbhan, Kasara Bypass, Latifwadi, Ghoti, Sinnar, Khopdi, Pangri, Vavi, Pathare, Dushingwadi, Maldhon and Jagde Phata etc to Shirdi, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has set up about 1,17,000 square feet of Cloth Mantap at the places where palanquin stops all along Mumbai Shirdi highway by providing amenities like water and electricity. Bhajan and Kirtan programs have been organized at the palanquin stops for Sai devotees from this year onwards. Mobile toilet van has been arranged for Sai devotees who come with palanquins and LED vans have been arranged at the palanquin halting points for the publicity of Sai Baba. Shri.Valmikrao Kathkade from Kopergaon has provided 10 free wanter tankers along with drivers for which fuel and maintenance are being taken care of by Sansthan. Also, after the Padayatris arrive in Shirdi, accommodation for Padayatris will be provided at Sai Dharmashala at nominal rates. In order to provide emergency medical care to Padayatris on the way from Sinnar to Shirdi, a mobile medical team has been deployed. Also, for the convenience of Sai devotees during the summer season, summer cloth pavilions with palm leaf roofs have been erected in the temple area, Sai Prasadalaya and other guest houses maintained by Sansthan. It is planned that more than 2 lakh Sai devotees will partake Prasad Bhojan at Sri Sai Prasadalaya during the festival. During the three-day festival, different varieties of Sai Prasad bhojan will be served to Sai devotees. In order to provide Coffee, Tea and Milk to devotees easily arrangements have been made in and around darshan area, Sai Complex, Sai Ashram, Sai Dharmashala, Bhaktaniwas (500 rooms), Dwaravati Bhaktaniwas, Sai Udyan buillding premises, new darshan queue complex, Shantiniwas building, ground and first floor of darshan queue complex.
