Shri.Sudheer Dalvi is a versatile Indian actor and a great Shirdi Saibaba Devotee. He first came to prominence for portraying the role of Guru Vashishta in Ramanand Sagar's famous TV series Ramayan, but is well known worldwide for his role as “Shirdi Saibaba” in the super hit Hindi Movie “Shirdi Ke Saibaba” directed by Shri.Manoj Kumar Goswami in the year 1977.
He was born on 20th March 1939 at Thane, Maharashtra. His Parents are Late Smt.Induprabha Dalvi and Late Shri.Prabhakar Dalvi.
He completed his Diploma and Bachelor Degree in Architecture and worked for many years as Interior Designer with well known Architects of Mumbai before entering Films & TV Arena. He came to Saibaba fold in the year 1977.
He is happily married to Smt.Suhas and has a Son named Shri.Rohit. At present he is living with his Wife and Son and is leading a peaceful life at his Mumbai Residence.

As an Amateur Theatre Artist he worked with prominent Theatre Groups of Mumbai like Theatre Unit, Indian People’s Theatre Association and many other famous Theatre Groups from the year 1962 to 1969.
As a Professional Theatre Artist he worked with prominent Theatre Groups of Mumbai from the year 1970 to 1979 and successfully portrayed different characters.
Films:
He first faced Camera in the year 1972 and started working in Films regularly from 1976 onwards. He did a small role in his first Film “27 Down Kashi Express”.
He has acted in more than 200 Films in 10 Indian Languages like Marathi (38) , Hindi (more than 200), Gujarati (4), Punjabi (2), Avadhi (1), Bengali (3), English(1), Bhojpuri (3), Marwadi & Urdu.
He is well known worldwide for his role as “Shirdi Saibaba” in the super hit Hindi Movie “Shirdi Ke Saibaba” directed by Shri.Manoj Kumar Goswami in the year 1977. His role in the movie was not only widely acclaimed by the Press and applauded by the Audience worldwide but also fetched him the “Best Character Actor” Award.
