Dr.Subodh Agarwal an ardent devotee of Shirdi Saibaba is a prolific Writer and an eminent Educationist.

Dr.Subodh Agarwal was born in Manglaur Town of Haridwar District of Uttarakhand State on 1st March 1950 to Smt.Kanta Devi and Shri.Mahendra Kumar.

He has completed M.A.(English Literature),M.A.(History), Ph.D.(English Literature), Ph.D.(History),D.Litt.(English Literature) and D.Litt. (History).

He served as Associate Professor and Head Of the Department, Department of English at DAV Post-Graduate College, Dehra Dun before being retired from service.

He came to Saibaba's fold in the year 1985. He has been writing articles on Saibaba in English for the past 10 years for many eminent News Papers & Magazines like Sai Amrit (published from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh), Sai Sudha (published from Chennai, Tamilnadu), Shri Sai Sewa (published from Allahabad/Kanpur, Uttarpradesh), Sai Arpan (published from Moradabad, Uttarpradesh) and last but not the least Shri Sai Leela Magazine published by Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

He is married to Smt.Usha Agarwal and has a Daughter namely Dr.Kum.Vibhuti Agaral.

At present he is living in his Dehra Dun Residence along with his family members.
