Shri Raviraj Nasery is a well-known and acclaimed Ghazal and Sai Bhajan singer who has been performing for more than twenty eight years.

Sri Raviraj Nasery was born on 2nd June 1957 at Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. His Parents are Late Sri.Nilkanth Rai Atmaram Nasery and Late Smt.Vimal Nasery. He was born in a big family. He is having 6 Brot hers and One Sister. His Brothers and Sisters are living separately in Nagpur & Chhindwara respectively. He has completed Master of Commerce and M.A.Economics at Chhindwara.

Sri.Raviraj Nasery comes from a family of Land Lords from Madhya Pradesh. He is the only person to embrace music in the entire family. Shri.Raviraj Nasery proudly states that whatever he has accomplished today in the field of Music is because of his parents and Saibaba’s Grace.

Sri.Raviraj Nasery is performing Sai Bhajan Sandhya for the last 28 years and has performed all over the world. His soulful performances have earned him repute both in a number of cities all over India as well as in several countries which he frequents on a regular basis such as USA, UK, Canada, Malaysia, Mauritius, South Africa, Tanzania and Nepal. The specialty of Sri.Raviraj Nasery is that he composes the Songs, tunes them and also Sings.

At Present he is living separately in Chhindwara with his wife Smt.Archana Raviraj Nasery, Son Sai Kiran and Daughter Saily.

Raviraj belongs to that rare category of artists who have tapped into the ever-flowing creativity and love of their hearts and metamorphosed them into the divine language of music. His heart-felt renderings of his poignant compositions in his rich voice mesmerize the audience and leave a profound impact on them that lingers long after the program is over. Each of his compositions seem like an invaluable pearl that has been procured from the depths of the ocean of his spirit and enthrall the audience with their beauty and grandeur.

Combined with his musical talent, his ability to emotionally connect to the audience and make them a part of his program has earned him a large following throughout the world. He regularly performs on the Mumbai Doordarshan, Sanskar, Sony World and other TV channels in India and abroad. Raviraj sings his own compositions with his own music direction & lyrics. More than 500 devotional compositions are attributed to him and renderings of his bhajan compositions are heard in more than 120 countries. He also has more than 25 audio CDs and 5 DVDs dedicated specifically to Sai bhajans.

As a bhajan artist, Raviraj has been associated with Shirdi Sai Sansthan in Shirdi, Siddhi Vinayak Mandir in Mumbai and the Tuljapur Mata Mandir in Tuljapur. He is very well known among Shirdi Sai Baba devotees as an outstanding bhajan singer and is regularly invited by them for bhajan sessions throughout India as well as abroad. Raviraj is also very closely associated with spiritual activities in Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi and has been blessed to sing several times before Bhagawan Shri Sathya Sai Baba.

In addition to being a bhajan singer, Raviraj Nasery is a well-known Ghazal singer and brings his own flair to the art of Ghazal singing. He has provided music and rendered various Ghazals written by several well-known writers of India. He has also been specially invited by the acclaimed Ghazal singer, Pankaj Udhas, to perform at a Khazana concert. In addition to bhajans and Ghazals, Raviraj has also sung old film songs of Mohammed Rafi, Manna Dey, and Mahendra Kapoor, as well as Ghazals of Ghulam Ali, Mehdi Hassan, and Jagjit Singh at various programs.

Raviraj’s rendering of Marathi abhangas and bhavageet (Marathi devotional songs) brings to life the earnest devotion towards God that the saints of Maharashtra were famous for. Raviraj also delightfully renders Marathi Ghazals and has been appreciated by Marathi Ghazal King Suresh Bhat who has in a letter acknowledged the incredible changes that Raviraj has effected in the singing of Marathi Ghazals.

Raviraj has performed in several government undertaking companies like IDBI, Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, ONGC, Shipping Corporation of India, Union bank, Dena bank, Bank of India, Cotton Corporation of India, Income Tax Department, and Maharashtra Tourism. Further, cultural department of Madhya Pradesh has organized his special programs all over the state.

Currently, Raviraj is working on and writing the lyrics of and composing music for 1008 bhajans devoted to Sai Baba. Upon completion of the recording of these 1008 bhajans, they will be released to Sai devotees both in India and abroad.

Raviraj has done numerous bhajan and Ghazal programs all over the world and has been recognized and appreciated by a number of imminent artists and dignitaries. Some of his achievements include –

Bhajan Sandhya in England from 21st Nov to 27th Nov 2008 which was attended by a large number of people

Special ghazal program on 5th April 2008 in Chandigarh. The attendees included Shri Prakash Singh Badal (Chief Minister of Punjab), Shri Bhupinder Singh Hooda (Chief Minister of Haryana) and Prem Kumar Dhumal (Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh) who appreciated the program

Specially invited for a concert from 17th Mar to 24th Mar 2008 in Durban. The concert was attended by more than 9000 people and it was an amazing musical experience for all the attendees

Renowned artist Lata Mangeshkar honored him in a specially arranged program in India with her presence

Performed at various prestigious locations in New Jersey and New York in 2000 and entertained the vast gathering of religious leaders and dignitaries attending a United Nations conference in September 2000

Performed for one hour in New Jersey in the presence of Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee (who was then the Prime Minister of India) at an event organized by United Nations in 2000

Ghazal concert in Mumbai in 1997 which was attended by Sunil Gavaskar (world class ex-cricketer and ex-captain of the Indian team) who appreciated the program tremendously and Zahir Abbas (ex-captain of the Pakistan cricket team) who immensely loved Raviraj’s voice and his music

Specially invited by the late Shri Gyani Zail Singh (the ex-President of India) for a program in Rashtrapati Bhavan on the eve of Orissa foundation day in 1987.
