Priya Sisters are one of the very popular and leading Carnatic Musicians. The sisters, Shanmukhapriya and Haripriya started learning vocal music since the age of five from their father Sri.V.V.Subbaram who is a post-graduate in music. Later they had their advanced training in music from Kalaimamanis Smt.Radha and Smt.Jayalakshmi.

The sisters have performed together more than 2000 concerts all over India and abroad touring countries like the USA, Canada etc. They have performed in a number of prestigious festivals like the Festival of Hyderabad, Duo Festival, during 69th and 70th birthday celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, World Tamil Conference to list a few concerts. The duos have also performed at the Rashtrapati Bhavan before the former President of India Sri.R.Venkataraman.
