Smt.K.M.Kusuma an ardent devotee of Shirdi Saibaba born on 9th September 1966 in New Delhi is a household name in Karnataka for more than 2 decades. She got herself trained in Carnatic classical music for over 13 years under various eminent gurus like Smt. Lalita Pantulu, Smt. Gyanam Subramaniam, and Sri.V S K Chakrapani. Smt. K M Kusuma has embraced music as her full time profession.

She is a veteran Playback Singer and has sung in more than 100 Kannada Films for the past 22 years. She has performed in more than 3000 “Live concerts” in 7 different languages all over India in Sugama Sangeeta, Dasavani, & Bhajans. She has released many cassettes on Dasavani, Devotional music & Sai Bhajans. She has released 13 Music albums. She has sung in more than 700 Cassettes / CD’s in Sugama Sangeeta, Dasavani & Devotional music. She is a “B high” Grade Sugama Sangeeta Artist with All India Radio and Doordarshan.

Known for her versatility, the smiling and ever-obliging Smt. K M Kusuma renders Bhajans and Sugama Sangeeta with equal elegance and finesse. Her mellifluous & powerful voice has an incredible range and leaves audiences spellbound in admiration with her renditions.

• Sung in more than 100 Kannada movies, some of them being, Nammoora mandara hoove (Music Director : Illayaraja), Mithileya Seetheyaru (Music Director: Vijaya Bhaskar), Kiraataka (Music Director: Hamsalekha), Baalahombale (Music Director: Upendra Kumar), Shambhavi (Music Director: Shankar – Ganesh), Amritha Varshini (Music Director: Deva), Kaanuruheggadathi (Music Director: Kaaranth), Yaarigu Helabedi (Music Director: Rajan-Nagendra) etc.
• Awarded with Aryabhata award in the year 1994 for the song “Onde ondu thuthu” for movie “Hetha Karulu”, Music Director – Upendra Kumar for singing in child voice.
• Popular child voice songs for Baby Shamili like “O chitte bannada chitte” and “Calcuttadalli paan masaala” (Music Director – Shankar Ganesh).

• Currently conducting classes exclusively in Sugama Sangeetha and film hits on individual basis in the name of “BHAKTI GAANA SUDHA”(BGS).
• Performed Old Hindi Hits Programme “Sur Singaar” – A Tribute to the Legends, under the banner of “Bhakti Gaana Sudha” - Nov 2008 at YMCA.
• BGS has produced many champions who have won titles in various Reality Shows on ETV, Zee TV (Kannada and Tamil), Udaya TV, Kasturi Channel etc.
• The students have also successfully given their voice for playback singing in Kannada TV Serials as well as Movies.

- Sai Bhajan Concerts

• Performed live bhajan concert for first time in History “SAI AMRUTHAM“.
• Rendered Sai Bhajan Concerts at various Baba temples and places like Sai Ashraya Dhama, kadugodi White field, Muddenahalli,.
• Sung at various Akhanda Bhajans of 85 hours.
  
• Performed Bhajan concerts at Government offices like Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, PWD office etc.
• Released Solo album on Shirdi Sai Baba at Mumbai.
• Released Sai Bhajan Live Concert CD’s “Sai Amrutham” Volumes, “Om Sri Sai Narayana” etc.
