Sri.Kailash Harekrishna Das popularly known as  “Taydey” was a famous Writer, Singer, Lyricist and Music Director from Nagpur, Maharashtra. He was born on 1st May 1973 at Nagpur, Maharashtra. His parents were Sri.Laxman Baxi and Smt.Yashoda. He came from the family of Musicians. His father Sri.Laxman Baxi was a well known Music Teacher in Nagpur.

He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from Nagpur, Maharashtra. He was a “Sangeet Visharad” who composed, Tuned and Sung Sai Bhajans for all his Music Albums.

He learnt Classical Music from his father Sri.Laxman Baxi and later on from Pandit Ghanshyamji of Vrindavan Kirana Gharana fame.

He served as the All India Radio B+ Grade Hindi Artist in Light Music and B Grade Marathi Sugama Sangeeta (Light Music) for several years.

He came to Saibaba’s fold in the year 1995. Since then he gave regular Sai Bhajan Programmes in various Television Channels like Sahyadri, Astha, and Nagpur Doordarshan. He gave programmes regularly in Nagpur All India Radio. He gave Sai Bhajan Programme on the occasion of Guru Poornima at Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan. He performed at the specially erected Shatabdhi Mahotsav Stage next to Hanuman Mandir in Shirdi on 29th November 2017 as part of the Centenary Celebration of Shri Sai Baba's Maha Samadhi. He also gave Sai Bhajan Sandhya Programmes all over India on a regular basis. His Sai Bhajan CD’s are available on the Internet, Tata Sky Active Darshan, and Many Cable Network Channels. His Sai Bhajan CD’s also are played daily in Saibaba Samadhi Mandir Live Telecast.

Apart from Writing Lyrics, Composing, Tuning and Singing Sai Bhajans, he also effortlessly played Musical Instruments like Mouth Organ, Harmonium and Flute.  

He was also very philanthropic in nature and loved to help poor people around him.

He was married to Smt.Lata Kailash and was blessed with a Son Master Shyam Sunder, daughters Kum. Komal who is persuing her Engineering Degree, Kum.Swastika.

1. Honored in the year 2010 from Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan during the Guru Poornima Festival.

2. Honored in the year 2011 from Siddi Vinayak Temple, Mumbai.

3. Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Singing Performance in the year 2020 from Imrans Super Melodious Voice, Nagpur.

After living for a very short but a very purposeful span of 48 years and performing Sai Seva in a brilliant way, Shri.Kailash Harekrishna Das ji passed away peacefully on 4th May 2021 at Nagpur.
