Shri.C.S.Dinesh an ardent devotee of Shirdi Saibaba is the author of "Bhavanuvada Shri Sai Satcharita" a Kannada translation of Late Shri.Hemadpant's Magnum Opus Shri Sai Satcharita (Ovi to Ovi) into Prose form.

Shri.C.S.Dinesh was born in Chickmagalur Town and District of Karnataka on 29th May 1948 to Smt.Jayamma and Late Shri.Shankaranarayana Rao, a renowned Veena Vidwan.

He has completed Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Chickmagalur, Karnataka. He is a member of Chinmaya Mission Study Circle at Chembur, Mumbai and also Mysore Association in Mumbai.

He played a prominent role in "Nachiketa" a Kannada Play directed by his Uncle in the year 1959. He also helped his uncle in the making of a Kannada Movie "Akkamahadevi". These kind of activities dragged him to the Spiritual and Philosophical world with in no time.

He worked as an Engineer for some time with Mafatlal Group in Mumbai before moving to Nigeria in the year 1976 where he served for a longer period of time before being retired from Service. After retirement he moved and permanently settled in Mumbai.

In the year 1990 he was fortunate enough to get himself involved in the spiritual activities of Lagos Saibaba Mandir where he was involved in day to day temple activities like Bhajans, Keertans, Satsangs.

From the year 1995 onwards he got himself involved in the activities of Chinmaya Mission Study Circle at Chembur, Mumbai. This helped him to listen to the wonderful spiritual discourses of many Swamijis of Chinmaya Mission. There he came in contact with two Spiritual Guru's Shri.T.G.Rao and Shri. Acharya who dragged him to the world of Sprituality.

In 2011, he came in contact with Shri.Pawar Kaka from Pune who translated Shri.Hemadpant's Magnum Opus Shri Sai Satcharita (Ovi to Ovi) to prose form in Marathi and got the wonderful opportunity of translating the greatest work of Late Shri.Hemadpant to Kannada which he successfully completed and released on 31st Jan 2013 by the Grace of Shirdi Saibaba.  

At present he is also working on another Book on Shirdi Saibaba known as "Dainandika Sai Smarane" - a collection of one Shirdi Saibaba Short Story per day for 365 days.

He is married and has two Sons namely Shri.Sriharsha & Shri.Sridhar and a Daughter namely Smt.Sangeeta.

At present he is living in his Chembur, Mumbai Residence along with his wife.
