Smt. Budenamma (Bhanu) is a writer as well as Poet.  She was born on 6th July 1940 at S.M.Gollahalli, Madhugiri Taluk, Tumkur District of Karnataka as the eldest daughter to her parents Late Sri.Babu Saheb and Late Smt.Bhanu. She first visited Shirdi in the year 1984. She started her journey as writer and poet in the year 1996. Her first Book, a compilation of poems on Shirdi Saibaba in Kannada “Shri.Sai Nudisida Haadugalu” was published in the year 1999. She wrote and published her second book a collection of poems “Kottu Pade Santrupthi” revolving around social issues in Kannada in the year 2001. She has written a book, a collection of poems on Saibaba in Telugu “Sri. Baba Bhakti Kusumanjali” in the year 2000.  Her Latest book on Saibaba in Kannada a combination of   both prose and poetry “Satyam Vada Dharmam Chara” was published in the year 2007.

Smt.Budenamma is very philanthropic in nature. She has contributed to several Ashrams, Old Age Homes, Blind Schools, Temples, and Masjids out of the money she has earned through the sales of her books.
