Sai Mahabhakte Smt.Radhabai Mahadev Jadhav was born in Pune around the year 1908 as the only daughter of Shri.Krishnaji Jagtap. She had 3 brothers as well. Her father Shri.Krishnaji Jagtap served in the British Police force and was posted in Sakori village near Shirdi in Ahmed Nagar District. He also had an additional charge of Chandanapuri due to the presence of dacoits in that area. During his posting there, the family stayed for sometime in Shirdi.

Late Shri.Krishnaji Jagtap

As a child, Smt.Radhabai Mahadev Jadhav used to play on the lap of Shri Sai Baba. Sai Baha loved children, entertained them with stories, and gave them Prasad. Shri Sai Baba used to walk barefoot. Smt.Radhabai Mahadev Jadhav says that Baba despite walking barefoot, his feet were as soft as cotton. During later years when the entire family became disciples of Shri Sai Baba, Smt.Radhabai Mahadev Jadhav used to often narrate these cherished stories to her family members.

Smt.Radhabai Mahadv Jadhav was married to Shri.Mahadv Govind Jadhav. He worked as an Advocate in Igatpuri Nasik District. The couple were blessed with five sons and two daughters as below:

3. Late Kusum Yashwantrao Nalavade - Daughter
4. Late Sudhakar M. Jadhav
5. Late Pandurang M. Jadhav
6. Late Suman S Shinde - Daughter
7. Shri Vijay M. Jadhav

Smt. Radhabai Jadhav passed away on 26th December in 1999.

Late Smt.Radhabai Mahadev Jadhav's son says: "We feel truly blessed that our own mother had seen and played on the lap of great Saint Shri. Sai Baba. Sai Baba took utmost g utmost care of my family and is taking care even to this day".
