Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi informs to all the devotees that Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir has been opened for darshan of devotees from 16th November 2020 Diwali Pratipada day. Due to the limited number of the darshan facility in the temple, upto 15000 devotees can be permitted per day in the backdrop of Covid-19. Therefore, all the devotees coming for Sai Baba Darshan without any pre-planning and by making online booking (paid and free) on the website of Sansthan online.sai.org.in will not be inconvenienced. Sansthan administration has made continuous efforts about spreading this information to make the public aware through various platforms, social media, TV, publications and news.

However, even after the call from Sansthan, it has been observed that due to large number/huge crowds of devotees for Darshan of Shri Sai Baba, especially on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and other festivals or holidays, the darshan system is put to enormous stress than the actual planned capacity. Against the above background, due to Covid-19, restrictions have been issued by the State Government and the District Magistrate under the National Disaster Prevention Act, 2005 and the Epidemic Diseases Control Act, 1897. In addition, a new type of Covid-19 (Strain) has been reported in England. Devotees from all over the country and abroad flock to Shirdi to have a glimpse of Shri Sai Baba. Therefore, as a precautionary measure the Sansthan administration has taken the following decision as it is necessary to control the crowd and number of devotees to be allowed for Darshan from Thursday, 14th January 2021 till the government restrictions on Covid-19 are relaxed:-

1.Devotees can visit Shri Sai Baba every Thursday, Saturday/Sunday as well as on other festivals and holidays at Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi by visiting the website online.sai.org.in and reserving a free/paid darshan pass/aarti pass. It is impossible for the Sansthan administration to fecilitate darshan without a reserved pass.

2.Due to huge crowd/large number of devotees on Thursdays, Saturdays/Sundays and holidays and festivals, the pass distribution centres at Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shirdi will be closed for crowd control.

3.The number of foot palanquins processions arriving in Shirdi are also increasing at an unprecedented rate. Therefore, all palanquin groups should avoid bringing palanquins to Shirdi. This request of Sansthan administration should be strictly complied with. Other restrictions on Covid-19 will continue as it is in existance. All devotees should take note of this and cooperate with the Sansthan administration.
