Sonakshi, a transgender Sai devotee from Chandigarh and 10 of her colleagues visiited Shirdi on Wednesday, 30th December 2020 and donated Rs.11 lakhs in cash to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan. On the occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of Sansthan, Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate welcomed them and felicitated them.

At this time Sai devotee Sonakshi and 10 of her colleagues said "We have all come to Shirdi from Chandigarh after visiting many religious places. We all got Soul satisfaction after taking darshan of Shri Sai Baba. We got to see excellent discipline in this place. In the backdrop of Covid-19 Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has taken very good measures. All Sai devotees are seen wearing masks and following rules of maintaining social distance. There is no scope for anyone to complain about darshan system".

Sonakshi and her colleagues said that the arrangement made on behalf of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan in the backdrop of Covid-19 is very much in the interest of the health and safety of Sai devotees and hence requested that everyone should follow the rules and take advantage of the divine darshan of Shri Sai Baba.

Although free Darshan Aarti pass was made available on behalf of Sansthan as it was donation by Sai devotee, they politely refused it and preferred to take darshan through the normal darshan queue route. This is certainly commendable in the backdrop of some media propaganda about some women devotees claiming that Sansthan is demanding for Aarti darshan and darshan. Heartfelt thanks were extended to all of them on behalf of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan on the occasion.

Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate inaugurated the Wet/Dry Garbage Collectioin Vehcile attached to Sansthan Health Department at a function held on Thursday, 10th December 2020. Deputy Executive Officer of Sansthan Shri.Ravindra Thakre, Chief Accounts Officer, all the officers of Sansthan, all department heads were also present on the occasion. Thus, the Garbage Collection Vehicle entered the service of Sansthan from today.

Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate informed Media Persons through a Press Release on Wednesday, 9th December 2020 that Sansthan has received an overwhelming response from 15,506 Sai Devotees in 5 Days i.e., from 3rd December 2020 to 7th December 2020 for its appeal to enter Samadhi Mandir wearing "Civilized Attire Or Dress According to Indian Tradition".

Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate said that some devotees had complained to Sansthan administration that the devotees who come to visit Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir are not sporting civilized attire. Taking note of these complaints, an appeal was made by Sansthan administration to all devotees to visit Samadhi Mandir sporting civilized attire. Also, display boards have been put up at the entrance of the Samadhi Mandir Complex. Through these display boards, Sansthan has not made any compulsion to the devotees but has only appealed to them. However, in order to know the opinion of Sai devotees about this appeal display boards, feedback register and forms have been kept on behalf of Sansthan at the Darshan Queue.

Accordingly, about 15,599 Sai devotees who came to pay obeisance to Shri Sai Baba during the period from 3rd December 2020 to 7th December 2020 have registered their opinion about the appeal display boards at the entrance of Samadhi Mandir Complex. Of these, 15,506 Sai devotees have not raised any objection and have upheld the decision of Sansthan as perfectly correct. Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate said that only 93 Sai devotees have expressed their view that this decision is unfair.

By the order of Maharashtra Government Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi Mandir has been thrown open to devotees from 16th November 2020 with certain conditions/restrictions. Since Corona pandemic is not totally eliminated, keeping in view of the health and safety of Sai devotees, Sansthan has arranged for Sanitization, thermal screening and foot washing at Darshan Queue. Such being the case, there is a need for more quantity of Sanitizer. Hence, Sansthan had appealed separately to Sugar factories in and around Shirdi to donate 5000 litres of Sanitizer to Sansthan.

Accordingly, Chairman Of Sanjeevani Sahakari Sugar Factory Shri.Bipindada Kolhe & MLA Smt.Snehlatatai Kolhe Donated 450 Jars of 5 Litres each totalliing to 2250 litres of Sanitizer to Sansthan. Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate informed Media Persons through a Press Release on Tuesday, 1st December 2020 that 91,136 devotees took Darshan of Shri Sai Baba and about 1,10,000 devotees partook Sai Prasad at Prasadalaya from 16th November 2020 to 27th November 2020 after the lockdown was lifted by an order of State Government.

Currently dreaded Corona Virus (Covid-19) disease is on the rise and hence, the Government had ordered for lockdown of entire Country since 17th March 2020 as a preventive measure. By the order of Maharashtra Government Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi Mandir has been thrown open to devotees from 16th November 2020 with certain conditions/restrictions. Due to the fact that the corona virus has still not been totally eradicated, a certain number of devotees are being allowed to enter the temple by following strict social distance norms for the darshan of Shri Sai Baba. Therefore, to avoid any inconvenience, Sai devotees should come to Shirdi to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba only after confirming their online booking. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has appealed to office bearers of all Palanquin groups to avoid coming to Shirdi along with Padayatris carrying Palanquins.

91,136 devotees took Darshan of Shri Sai Baba through online, time based biometric darshan and through paid darshan passes and about 1,10,000 devotees partook Sai Prasad at Prasadalaya from 16th November 2020 to 27th November 2020. This includes, 5000 pieces of Surgical Masks, 8500 pieces of Hand Gloves, 400 pieces of Face Shield and 125 litres of Sanitizer. He also donated Rs.1 Lakh towards Annadan Fund and Rs.2 Lakh in cash to Sansthan.

During the period from 16th November 2020 to 24th November 2020, about 48,224 Sai devotees took the benefit of Shri Sai Baba's Darshan. Also, during the same period Rs.3,09,83,148 donation was received in various kinds.

As per the orders of Maharashtra Government, Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir was thrown open to devotees for darshan from 16th November 2020. During the period from 16th November 2020 to 24th November 2020, about 48,224 Sai devotees took the benefit of Shri Sai Baba's Darshan. This includes Time based Biometric darshan, Public Relations Officer and Online Services. Through Online and Paid Darshan / Aarti Passes Rs.61,04,600 was received. Also, during this period, about 80,000 Sai devotees took advantage of the Prasad Bhojan at Sri Sai Prasadalaya.

Also, during the same period from 16th November 2020 to 24th November 2020, Rs.3,09,83,148 donation was received in various kinds. This includes, Rs.1,52,57,102 from Donation Boxes, Rs.33,06,632 from Donation Counters, Rs.1,22,50,822 from Debit/Credit Card, Online, Cheque/DD Donation, Money Order etc., and Rs.1,68,592 by way of foreign currencies from 6 Countries. Likewise, 64.500 grams of Gold and 3801.300 grams of Silver have also been received by Sansthan during the same period.

As we are all aware, Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi Mandir has been opened from 16th November 2020 for Darshan to devotees. In the backdrop of dreaded Corona Virus still prevailing and in order to oversee smooth darshan for devotees who are arriving in Shirdi, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has started a 24-hour Helpline, Control Room as well as Whatsapp facility.

Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp organized on Tuesday, 24th November 2020 at Sai Ashram-1 (1000 rooms) Campus and was the first one to donate blood.

Due to the outbreak of dreaded Corona virus around the World, in the country and the state this year, the Government had ordered for locked down as a preventive measure. Accordingly Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir had been closed for Sai devotees since 17th March 2020. At present, since, the Lockdown is being lifted in a phased manner, slowly the day to day life is limping back to normal. As a result, there is a shortage of blood for day-to-day patients or for planned surgeries and emergency surgeries. Also, since blood donation is the best and most sacred form of donation, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan had organized a blood donation camp on Tuesday, 24th November 2020 from morning 9:00 am to evening 5:00 pm at Sai Ashram-1 Campus. This blood donation camp was inaugurated by the Chief Executive Officer of Sansthan Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate by himself donating blood. Deputy Executive Officer of Sansthan Shri.Ravindra Thakre, Administrative Officers Dr.Akash Kisave, Shri.Dilip Ugale, Medical Director Dr.Vijay Narode, Medical Superintendent Dr.Maithili Pitambare and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

In this blood donation camp, 118 blood donors comprising of Shirdi villagers, Sai devotees, department heads and employees of various departments of Sansthan donated blood and were given certificates, blood donor cards on behalf Sansthan. They were also given 3-D image of Shri Sai Baba and Udhi Prasad.

Special efforts were made by Medical Director Dr.Vijay Narode, Medical Superintendent Dr.Maithili Pitambare, nurses and staff of the hospital for the successful conduct of the camp.

In the backdrop of covid-19 pandemic restrictions, Shri Sai Baba Sanstha has appealed to all Sai devotees that Shri Sai Baba's Aarti, Darshan and accommodation is available in very limited Numbers. Hence, Sansthan has requested all Sai Devotees to book their Aarti / Darshan passes in advance before arriving to Shri Sai Baba darshan in Shirdi and in order to avoid inconvenience.

Maharashtra Government has ordered for opening of all religious places in Maharashtra from 16th November 2020. Accordingly, the Chief Executive Officer of Sansthan Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate informed media persons through a Press Release on Sunday, 15th November 2020 that 6000 Sai devotees will be allowed to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba at the Samadhi Mandir on a daily basis. However, Children below 10 years of age, Pregnant Women, Senior Citizens above 65 years as well as Sai devotees who are not wearing Masks will not be allowed to enter the Temple.

 

Shri.Bagate said that due to the outbreak of Corona virus around the World,, in the country and the state this year, the Government has ordered for locked down as a preventive measure. Accordingly Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir has been closed for Sai devotees since 17th March 2020. On 14th November 2020, the State Government had ordered to open all religious places in Maharashtra on the auspicious occasion of Kartika Padyami from 16th November 2020. Corona disease has not been completely eradicated in the Country. Hence, On behalf of Sansthan, a high level planning meeting was organized under the chairmanship of District Collector Shri.Rajendra Bhosale at Shri Sai Hall to discuss various measures in order to protect the health of devotees when the Samadhi Mandir of of Shri Sai Baba is kept open for darshan. This meeting was attended by Superintendent of Police Shri.Manoj Patil, Member of ParliameGnt Shri.Sadashiv Lokande, Member of Legislative Assembly Shri.Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Additional Superintendent of Police Shri.Agarwal, Zonal Superintendent Shri.Govind Shinde, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shri.Rahul Madane, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Shri.Ravindra Thakre, District Tahasildar Shri.Kundan Hire and Chief Accounts Officer Shri.Babasaheb Ghorpade and others. On this occasion, District Collector Shri.Rajendra Bhosale imparted guidance and also inspected Darshan Queue and Sai Prasadalaya to oversee the arrangements made.

Samadhi Mandir will be opened for Darshan after Kakad Aarti on 16th November 2020. 6000 Sai devotees will be allowed to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba at the Samadhi Mandir on a daily basis. Of these, 3000 will be through paid passes and 3000 will be through free passes. Sai devotees will have to book Darshan Passes online through www.online.sai.org.in website. Also, those devotees who come directly to Shirdi will have to book offline darshan passes. Counters have been set up at all Sansthan accommodation complexes for booking these offline darshan passes. Out of 3000 offline passes, 1000 passes will be issued to local Shirdi villagers from 05.45 to 06.45 in the morning at the darshan pass counters set up at Sai Ashram-1, Shri Sai Baba Bhaktaniwas (500 rooms), Dwaravati Bhaktanivas and Shirdi Bus Stand. Also, for each Aarti, only 60 Sai devotees will be permitted to attend. Out of this, 10 passes will be given to Shirdi villagers who come first come first serve basis during each of these Aartis. Villagers will be issued 10 Aarti passes at Sai Udyan complex and villagers will not be allowed to enter the temple without voters ID and Aadhar card. Also, 50 Aarti passes will be issued to important and very important dignitaries and donor devotees and the paid Darshan passes will be issued at the pass distribution counter near the public relations office in front of Gate No.1. All Sai devotees should compulsarily wear masks while going for darshan. However, Children below 10 years of age, Pregnant Women, Senior Citizens above 65 years as well as Sai devotees who are not wearing Masks will not be allowed to enter the Temple. Besides, it is forbidden to carry flowers, garlands and other Pooja materials inside the temple.

Devotees will be allowed to enter through gate number 2, have darshan at Dwarakamai and the Samadhi Mandir and will be allowed to exit through gate number 5 after taking darshan at Gurusthan temple. Sanitization, thermal screening and foot washing have been arrangend at Darshan Queue. Shri.Bagate also said that Sai devotees who have fever will be admitted to Covid Care Hospital for immediate check up and treatment.

Also, it will be convenient for Sai devotees to come to Shirdi for darshan only if online booking has been confirmed. Else, they might face lot of inconvenience. In addition, Sai devotees who are sick are advised not to come for Darshan. Shri.Bagate appealed to all Sai devotees and Shirdi villagers to cooperate with Sansthan in this regard.

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) is celebrating Lakshmi Pooja to mark the auspicious occasion of Deepavali Festival on Saturday, 14th November 2020. In the backdrop of dreaded Corona virus disease, this year's festival will be celebrated in a simple manner. Chief Executive Officer Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate informed media persons through a Press Release on Monday, 9th November 2020 that arrangements have been made to accept money or money wallets inside the temple complex premises from villagers and sai devotees during the Lakshmi Pooja Festival period as per the tradition that is being followed since many years.

Shri.Bagate said that due to the outbreak of Corona virus in the country and the state this year, the Government has ordered for locked down as a preventive measure. Accordingly Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir has been closed for Sai devotees since 17th March 2020. Therefore, Deepavali Lakshmi Pooja Festival will be celeberated on Saturday, 14th November 2020 in a simple manner. Also, according to the tradition that is being followed during this festival, money or coin wallets will be accepted from villagers and Sai devotees for worship at the time of Lakshmi Puja. Accordingly, money or money wallets will be accepted from villagers and sai devotees at the counters set up near Gate No.4 and at donation counter inside Sai Complex near Maruti Mandir. Also, villagers and sai devotees should seal and deposit their money or money wallets on 14th November 2020 from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm with their name, full address and mobile number written on the wallets at the the counters and collect the tokens. Sai devotees should personally collect their money or money wallets on the same day at 7:30 pm by producing the tokens issued to them at the same counters.

Shri.Bagate appealed to all the villagers and sai devotees to wear masks, strictly maintain social distance norms and to cooperate with Sansthan's Security Personnel while depositing and receiving their money or money wallets for Lakshmi Pooja.

The 102nd Punyatithi Festival of Shri Sai Baba organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) started on Saturday, 24th october 2020 in an enthusiastic atmosphere. On the occasion of the festival, electric lighting and flower decorations were made inside Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir and its surroundings.

On the first day of the festival, Shri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti was held at 04.30 am. Later at 05.00 am a procession of the Photograph of Shri Sai Baba and the holy Shri Sai Satcharitra was was taken out. In this procession, Chief Executive Officer Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate held holy Shri Sai Satcharitra Pothi, Ad-hoc committee member Shri.Dilip Swamy held Veena and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Shri.Ravidra Thakre and Temple Incharge Shri.Ramesh Choudhary held Baba's Idol and participated. After the procession reached Dwarakamai, Akhanda Parayan of holy Shri Sai Satcharitra commenced. At morning 6.00 am, Chief Executive Officer Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate and his wife Smt.Sangita Bagate performed Ritualistic worship of the Holy Padukas at the Samadhi Mandir. On the second and main day of festival on Sunday, 25th October 2020, as per tradition, the Bhiksha Jholi programme was held in symbolic manner. Kakad Aarti was held at 4.30 am. At 09.00 am, the Chief Executive Officer of Sansthan Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate formally worshiped the flag of Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Shatabdi Pillar at Landibaugh and changed the flag and the symbolic Bhiksha Jholi ceremony was held at the Samadhi Mandir. Traditional Seemollanghan Ceremony was held at 5.00 am in the evening at Khandoba Mandir. Dhoop Aarti was held at 6.00 pm. Shej Aarti was held at 10.30 pm.

Attractive Flower Decoration inside the Samadhi Mandir and its surroundings was made with the generous donation from Philanthropic donor from Coimbatore Shri.Nagaraj. Also, Shaneshwar Light Decorators from Shani Shinganapur did attractive electric lighting decorations in the Samadhi Mandir and its surroundings.

Punyatithi Festival of Shri Sai Baba organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) which was started on Saturday, 24th october 2020 concluded on Monday, 26th October 2020 with the breaking of Dahi Handi by Sansthan Chief Executive Officer Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate after the completion of traditional Kalyachi Keertan.

On the concluding day of the festival, Kakad Aarti was held at 04.30 am, followed by Shri Sai Baba's Mangal Snan and Shirdi My Pandharpur Aarti at 05.20 am. On the main day of Shri Sai Baba Punyatithi festival, Sai devotees participated in enthusiastic manner in the traditional Bhiksha Jholi programme and donated generously. In this Bhiksha Jholi programme Villagers and Sai Devotees contributed with Rs. 2,85,272/- worth wheat, rice, millet, sorghum, tur dal, moongdal, lentil, semolina, groundnut, jaggery, sugar, pure ghee and edible oil and other grains, Rs.70,308/- in cash with Sansthan receiving overall donation amounting to Rs.3,55,880/- from the Biksha Jholi programme. Also, on the occasion of Shri Sai Baba's Punya Tithi festival philanthropic donor from Hyderabad Shri.Sunil Shah donated Silver Curtain weighing 1515 grams worth about Rs.91,000/- to Sansthan.

With profound grief we would like to inform Sai Devotees  that Chief Public Relations Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan and author of “Shri Sai Charitra Darshan” Shri.Mohan Yadav ji passed away in the wee hours of Saturday, 26th September 2020 after an unsuccessful brain surgery at a Private Hospital at Nasik. Shri.Yadav was hospitalized and was being treated since last week.  He was 57 years old at the time of demise. He leaves behind wife Smt.Rekha, Daughter Kum.Shraddha and Son Shri.Omkar. 

He was very soft spoken, humble and always devoted in the service of Shri Sai Baba.  It is indeed very shocking news for crores of Sai Devotees across the globe.

He took over as Chief Public Relations of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan in the year 2004 and relentlessly served with pure love and devotion for 16 long years in that position. He was well known amongst his close circles for his utmost honesty and totally dedicated service minded nature. It is a very great loss to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan as it lost a noble officer in him. As everyone knows, the position of Chief Public Relations Officer attracts highest amount of pressure from Sai Devotees, Shirdi resident devotees, Political Leaders, Sansthan Trust Officials and many others. But, being an epitome of calmness, Shri.Mohan Yadav ji  handled the position deftly which was appreciated by one and all. Shri.Mohan Yadav was instrumental in Shri.K.V.Ramani donating Rs.110 crores to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan for building Sai Ashram facility in Shirdi. Not only that. Shri. Mohan Yadav was also instrumental in Shri Sai Baba Sansthan getting large amount of donations from devotees around the world.

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan's Chief Executive Officer Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate informed media persons through a Press Release on Friday, 11th September 2020 that Dwarakamai and Chavadi where Shri Sai Baba lived 60 years was renovated with new Makrana Marble flooring with the donation received from Philanthropic Sai Devotee Shri.K.V.Ramani.

Shri.Bagate said that ad-hoc committee of Sansthan had earlier approved to accept the donation from Sai devotee Shri.K.V.Ramani to undertake the work of old marble flooring near the main portion of Shri Dwarakamai's Dhuni, Baba's Paduka area, removal of old tandoor stone flooring from the main part of Chavadi and outer Varandah and replacing the same with new pure white Makrana Marble and marble flooring polish of Dwarakamai Sabha Mantap area. Accordingly, donor Sai devotee Shri.K.V.Ramani and his brother Shri.Bhaskaran bought Makrana Marble from Makrana near Jaipur and donated the same to Sansthan. The marble was transported and delivered to Shirdi by sai devotee Shri.Vivek Chaturvedi from Jaipur at his own cost. Also, in order to see that work is completed he sent three skilled artisans from Jaipur to Shirdi with the necessary materials. He also donated all the other materials required by the artisans in the form of donations and also arranged for a craftsman from Nasik to polish the marble. Shri.Bagate also informed that Shri.Chartuvedi has donated about Rs.7 lakhs for this project.

"The renovation work of Dwarakamai was started on 18th July 2020 and was completed on 22nd August 2020. On the auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi day on 22nd August 2020, Sansthan Chief Executive Officer Shri.Bagate performed the ritualistic pooja at Dwarakamai. Also, the marble flooring work at Chavadi got completed on 25th August 2020".

Drastic Dip in Donations Received by Sansthan During Lock Down Due To Corona Pandemic - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi)

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan's Chief Executive Officer Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate informed media persons through a Press Release on Thursday, 10th September 2020 that due to the outbreak of Corona virus in the country and the state this year, the Government has ordered for locked down as a preventive measure. Accordingly Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir has been closed for Sai devotees since 17th March 2020. From 17th March 2020 to 31st August 2020, Sansthan has received various kinds of donations amounting to Rs.20,76,54,151 from Sai devotees. During the same period last year, Sansthan had received a donation of Rs.203,37,71,795. Shri.Bagate informed that compared to the previous year, the donation has decreased by about Rs.182,61,17,644.

Shri.Bagate said that due to the outbreak of Corona virus in the country and the state this year, the Government has ordered for locked down as a preventive measure. Accordingly Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir has been closed for Sai devotees since 17th March 2020. Last year, during the period from 17th March 2019 to 31st August 2019, the organization had received a donation of Rs.75,29,78,927 from Sai devotees through Donation Box. However, owing to closure of temple due to the Corona virus this year, no donations were received from Sai devotees through Donation Box during the period from 17th March 2020 to 31st August 2020.

Last year from 17th March 2019 to 31st August 2019, Rs.1,89,79,162 was received through Online Donation, Rs.75,29,78,927 through Donation Box, Rs.28,06,47,805 by way of Cash Donatioin, Rs.11,30,24,383.04 by way of Cheque/DD, Rs.98,61,048 by way of Money Order, Rs.2,52,61,710.31 via Foreign Currency, Rs.11,36,50,791 via Credit/Debit Cards, Rs.71,93,67,968.48 by way of various other means. Overall Rs.203,37,71,795 in cash and 8868.130 grams of Gold and 194481.480 grams of silver were received by Sansthan.

This year, from 17th March 17 2020 to 31st August 2020, online donations of Rs.11,47,99,794 have been received from Sai devotees and cash donations of Rs.18,32,397 Rs.93,05,411.69 by way of Cheque/DD, money order worth Rs.66,21,056, foreign currency of Rs.15,35,963.31, debit / credit card value of Rs.2,36,991 and Rs.33,22,538.88 by various other means. Overall, Rs.20,76,54,151 has been received by Sansthan. Shri.Bagate also said that around Rs.12 Crore is being spent on Staff Salary every month.

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan's Chief Executive Officer Shri.Kanhuraj Bagate informed media persons through a Press Release on Thursday, 10th September 2020 that Maharashtra Government has approved rules for appointment to Sansthan on Compassionate Grounds. The rule is applicable in case of Death of Officials / Employees while in service or those suffering from serious illness, retired due to permanent medical disability and not able to perform service at Sansthan due to accident. In order to provide immediate relief to the families of such employees who are facing severe financial distress, the State Government has approved rules for Appointment to Sansthan on Compassionate Grounds.

Shri.Bagate said that previous Sansthan Management Committee in its meeting held on 26th July 2019 had tentatively proposed for appointment of one eligible relative to Sansthan on Compassionate Grounds based on their educational qualification in case of Death of Officials / Employees while in service or those suffering from serious illness, retired due to permanent medical disability and not able to perform service at Sansthan due to accident with a view to provide immediate relief to families who are facing severe financial distress. Also, the proposal was submitted to the state government for its approval. Accordingly the State Government has given its consent through a resolution dated 27th August 2020.

Shri.Bagate said that the rules for appointment on Compassionate Grounds will benefit eligible families of 68 Sansthan Officials / Employees who are on waiting list under this scheme.

Likewise, this year's Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan Ceremony is being held from Shravana Shudda Pratipad i.e., from Tuesday, 4th August 2020 before Gokulashtami Festival. Shri.Ravindra Thakre said that both the festivals will however be celebrated in a virtual manner in the backdrop of dreaded Corona Virus Disease.

Shri.Thakre said that due to the outbreak of Corona Pandemic in entire India, the 26th Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan Festival will be celebrated in a virtual manner this year. Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan will be performed from Tuesday, 4th August 2020 to Wednesday,12th August 2020 from morning 07.00 am to 11.00 am by Sansthan. Shri.Thacke appealed to all Sai devotees to perform Parayan at their respective homes during this time adding that the Parayan will be broadcast live on YouTube, Facebook Page and Sansthan website at this time.

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Chief Executive Officer Shri.Arun Dongre informed media persons through a  press release  on Wednesday, 22nd  July 2020 that every year, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi), Natya Rasik Sanch, Shirdi & Shirdi Villagers are jointly organizing Shri Sai Satcharitra Mahaparayan Ceremony from Shravana Shudda Pratipad. Shri.Arun Dongre said Shirdi villagers were repeatedly demanding for celebration of Gokulashtami festival. Shri Sai Leela Magazine 1923 edition published by Sansthan states that Gokulashtami Festival was formerly celebrated locally in Shirdi but on a large scale. Coincidentally, Gokulashtami Festival and Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan Festival are being held together for the last 25 years in the holy month of Shravan. Therefore, if the date of commencement of Parayan is postponed, the Gokulashtami Festival which used to be widely celebrated at the local level will still be celebrated in a grand scale. The tradition of holding Gokulashtami Festival along with Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan Ceremony is going on for the last 25 years.

At present, due to the outbreak of Covid-19 (Corona Virus) in the entire Country, Samadhi Mandir of Shri Sai Baba has been closed indefinitely for devotees. There is no guarantee about the starting of darshan. Due to rampant spread of Corona Virus infection, the Government has imposed restrictions on Crowds and Crowded events. Also, a notification has been issued in the State under the Prevention of Infectious Diseases Act. The notification will be in force till 31st July 2020 in Maharashtra as well as Ahmednagar district. Hence, it will not be possible to hold Mass Parayan Ceremony this year. Hence, both the festivals will be celebrated in a virtual manner in the backdrop of dreaded Corona Virus Disease. Now, only the commencement of Parayan Ceremony has been postponed and will be held between 7.00 am to 11:00 am from Tuesday, 4th August 2020.

Due to the fact that the 25 year old tradition of holding Gokulashtami Festival and Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan together from Shravana Shudda Pratipat should not be broken, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has made arrangement for Pooja as well as Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan Ceremony on Samadhi Mandir Stage. Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan informed Media Persons through a Press Release on Monday, 6th July 2020 that at the behest of Sai Devotees, Sansthan has started a donation counter in front of Gate No.4 entrance to accept Sacred Clothes and Donations to Shri Sai Baba.

Shri.Dongre said that due to the outbreak of dreaded Corona Virus disease in the country and the state this year, the Government has ordered for lockdown and hence, since 17th March 2020, Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir has been closed for darshan to the devotees. Despite this, there were frequent demands from many Sai devotees to start a donation counter for offering clothes and donations to Shri Sai Baba. Accordingly, a donation office has been started on behalf of Sansthan in front of Gate No.4 entrance inside the temple premises.

Shri.Dongre appealed to all the employees of Sansthan to follow rules by wearing mask and maintaining social distance and cooperate with Sai devotees by accepting clothes and donation offering to Shri Sai Baba.

Guru Poornima celebrations organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, which began on Saturday, 4th July 2020 at Shirdi was brought to a fruitful closure on Monday, 6th July 2020 with magical rendition of Kalyachi kirtanas followed by Dahi Handi Breaking Ceremony by Sansthan's Chief Executive Officer Shri.Arun Dongre.

On the concluding day of Guru Poornima Festival, Shri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti was performed at 4:30 am. After that, at 05.10 am, Holy bath to Shri Sai Baba followed by Shirdi Maazhe Pandharpur Aarti were performed. At 06.00 am, Sansthan priest Shri.Vilas Joshi along with his wife performed ritualistic pooja to holy Padukas at Samadhi Mandir. Also, at 07.30 am, priest Chandrakant Gorkar along with his wife performed Rudrabhishek Puja at Gurusthan temple. On 5th July 2020, Sunday being the main day of the Festival, Chief Executive Officer Shri.Arun Dongre inaugurated the Grand Blood Donation Camp organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan on the auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima festival at Shri Sai Ashram Campus.

Considering the urgency of blood for the needy patients due to the outbreak of dreaded Corona virus and as blood donation is considered as one of the best and most sacred donations, a grand blood donation camp was organized at Shri Sai Ashram Campus on the occasion of Shri Guru Poornima Festival. In this Camp, Sansthan Chief Executive Officer set an example by registering himself and donated the blood. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Shri.Ravindra Thackeray, Chief Accounts Officer Shri.Babasaheb Ghorpade, Administrative Officers Dr.Akash Kiswe, Shri.Dilip Ugle, Deputy Engineer Shri.Raghunath Aher and others were also present. Also in this camp, Chief Accounts Officer of Sansthan Shri. Ghorpade, Public Relations Officer Shri.Mohan Yadav along with Shirdi villagers and employees of various departments of Sansthan donated blood. Today being main day of the festival, Kakad Aarti was held 4:30 am. Akhanda Parayan of holy Shri Sai Satcharitra ended at 5:00 am. On this occasion, procession of Shri Sai Baba's Idol and holy Shri Sai Satcharitra was taken out from Dwarakamai to Samadhi Mandir. Sansthan's Priest Shri.Uday Walunjkar participated by carrying Veena, Shri.Dilip Sulakhe held holy Sai Satcharitra, Shri.Vilas Joshi and Shri.Chandrakant Gorkar held Shri Sai Baba's idol and participated in the procession. Holy Bath to Shri Sai Baba was held in the early morning at 5:20 am. Today morning at 6:00 am on the occasion of Guru Poornima celebrations, Sansthan's Priest Shri.Uday Walunjkar along with his wife performed ritualistic Pooja to Holy Padukas. At 11.00 am, the flag of Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Shatabdi Dwaj Sthamb was formally worshipped by Sansthan priest Shri.Balasaheb Joshi at Landibag and the flag was changed. Sri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) enthusiastically commenced the celebrations of the auspicious festival of Guru Poornima on Saturday, 4th July 2020. On the occasion, the seekers and devotees were captivated by the wonderful lighting and flower decorations in and around Samadhi Mandir.

4th July 2020 being the first day of the celebrations, at dawn 05:00 am, Baba's idol and Holy Shri Satcharita were taken in a procession. Sansthan's Priest Shri.Uday Walunjkar participated by carrying Veena, Shri.Dilip Sulakhe held holy Sai Satcharitra, Shri.Vilas Joshi and Shri.Chandrakant Gorkar held Shri Sai Baba's idol and participated in the procession. On this occasion, Sansthan Temple Priest Shri.Ramesh Choudhary was also present.

After the procession reached Dwarakamai, the Akhanda Parayan of Holy Sai Satcharita began. Sansthan's Priest Shri.Uday Walunjkar read the first chapter, Priest Shri.Dilip Sulakhe read the second chapter, Priest Shri.Vilas Joshi read the third chapter, Chief Accountant Shri.Babasaheb Ghorpade read the fourth chapter and Administrative Officer Dr.Akash Kisave read the fifth chapter respectively.

In the afternoon 12:30 Afternoon Aarti was performed. Evening 4 pm to 6 pm kirtans were held. Evening 7:00 pm Dhoop Aarti was performed. Night 10:30 Shej Aarti was held. Also, Dwarakamai was kept open throughout night for Akhanda Sai Satcharitra Parayan.

Like every year, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi), is celebrating Shri Guru Poornima Festival from Saturday, 4th July 2020 to Monday, 6th July 2020 and this year's festival will be celebrated in a simple manner in the backdrop of Corona Virus disease. Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shri.Arun Dongre informed media persons through a Press Relase on Wednesday, 1st July 2020 that a large scale blood donation camp has been organized on the occasion on the main day of festival i.e., on Sunday, 5th July 2020 at Shri Sai Ashram Campus.

Shri.Dongre said that due to the outbreak of Corona virus in the country and the state this year, the Government has ordered for locked down as a preventive measure. Accordingly Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir has been closed for Sai devotees since 17th March 2020. Hence, Shri Guru Poornima Festival from Saturday, 4th July 2020 to Monday, 6th July 2020 will be celebrated in a simple manner. No cultural program will be held during this period and Shri Sai Baba's Chariot & Palanquin procession programs have also been cancelled.

On the first day of Shri Guru Poornima celebrations on Saturday, 4th July 2020 at 4.30 am Shri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti will be held. Shri Sai Baba's photo and holy Shri Sai Satcharita procession will be held at 05.00 am. Akhand Parayan of Shri Sai Sacharita will be held in Dwarakamai at 05.15 am. Shri Sai Baba's Mangal Snan will be held at 05.30 am at Samadhi Mandir. At 06.00 am Shri Sai Baba's holy Paduka Pooja will be held. Shri Sai Baba's Afternoon Aarti will be held at 12.30 pm. Kirtan will be held from 04.00 pm to 06.00 pm in the evening. Dhoop Aarti to Shri Sai Baba will be held at 7:00 pm. Shej Aarti will be held at 10:30 pm. On the concluding day of the festival on Monday, 6th July 2020, Shri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti will be held at 04.30 am. Shri Sai Baba's Mangal Snan will be held at 05.45 am, Shri Sai Baba's holy Paduka Pooja will be held at 07.00 am. Simultaneously, Rudrabhishek will be held at Gurusthan Mandir. At 10:00 am Gopal Kala Keertan and Dahi Handi Breaking Ceremonies willl be held at Samadhi Mandir. Shri Sai Baba's Afternoon Aarti will be held at 12:30 pm. Dhoop Aarti will be held at 07:00 pm. Shej Aarti will be held at 10:30 pm.

Due to the outbreak of dreaded Corona Virus disease, there is a huge shortage of Blood. Hence, on the occasion of Shri Guru Ppornima festival, on the main day of the festival i.e., on Sund ay, 5th July 2020 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm a grand blood donation camp has been organized at Shri Sai Ashram (1000 rooms). Aum Sairam All, it is with deep regret we wish to inform you that Shri. Amrit Rao Muralidhar Rao Gondkar, Grand son of well known Sai Mahabhakta Late Shri.Vaman Rao Gondkar passed away on Tuesday, 19th May 2020 at 11.30 am in Shirdi. He was over 80 year old at the time of demise and passed away due to old age.

He was a well known religious, social, political and enterprising personality.

Due to the restrictions imposed in Shirdi by the district administration owing to outbreak of dreaded Corona disease, his last rites were performed in a simple manner.

We pray to the Divine Lotus Feet of Lord Sai Baba and Lord Khandoba to give Sadgati to the departed Soul and to give strength to the family members to bear this loss.

On the main day of Shri Rama Navami Festival i.e., on Thursday, 2nd April 2020, Kakad Aarti was held at 4:30 am. Being main day of festival, after the Kakad Aarti, Akhanda Shri Sai Satcharita Parayan got completed at 5:00 am.

After the completion of parayan, procession of Shri Sai Baba's Photo and Holy Shri Sai Satcharita was held from Dwarakamai via Gurusthan Temple to the Samadhi Mandir. In this procession, Chief Executive Officer Shri.Arun Dongre held Veena, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Shri.Ravindra Thakre held holy Shri Sai Satcharita and Administrative Officers Shri.Akash Kisave and Shri.Dilip Ugale held Shri Sai Baba's Photograph respectively and particicpated in the procession. After the procession reached the Samadhi Mandir, Mangal Snan to Shri Sai Baba was held at 5:30 am. Chota Aarti Shirdi Majhe Pandharpur was held at 6:00 am.

In the Morning at 6:15 am Chief Executive Officer Shri.Arun Dongre and his wife Smt.Anjali Dongre performed ritualistic workship of holy Padukas of Shri Sai Baba at Samadhi Mandir.

At 6:45 am, Centenary Flag was changed at Lendi Baugh. At 7:00 am, Chief Executive Officer Shri.Arun Dongre and his wife Smt.Anjali Dongre performed rirutalistic worhsip of Wheat Bag at the Samadhi Mandir. After the pooja, the old Wheat Bag was replaced with the new one at Dwarakamai.

Shri Rama Navami Festival organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan began on Wednesday, 1st April 2020 on an auspicious note. Due to the outbreak of dreaded Corona Virus disease the public were not allowed to participate in any of the activities of festival but was restricted to few Sansthan Trust Members, officials and Temple Priests.

Today being first day of festival, Kakad Aart was held at 4:30 am. Immediately after kakad Aarti, procession of Shri Sai Baba's photograph and holy Shri Sai Satcharita was taken from Samadhi Mandir to Dwarakamai. In this procession, Chief Executive Officer Shri.Arun Dongre held the Veena,Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Ravindra Thakre held the holy Shri Sai Satcharitra Pothi, Medical Superintenent Dr.Vijay Narode and Administrative Officer Shri.Dilip Ugale held Shri Saibaba's Portrait and participated in the procession.

Immediately after the procession reached Dwarakamai, Akhanda Parayan of holy Shri Sai Satcharita commenced on an auspicious note. Shri Sai Baba took Bhiksha Himself and distributed it to poor people. Also, Baba always advised people to feed the hungry. Following the footsteps of Shri Sai Baba, after the closure of Shri Sai Prasadalaya, Sansthan on behalf of Shri Sai Prasadalaya is preparing meals since 18th March 2020 for about 1800 to 2000 people everyday. The food packets are being distributed free of cost twice daily by maintaining the prescribed social distance to patients and relatives at Shri Sai Baba Hospital and Shri Sainath Hospital, Orphanages, Old Age Homes, Deaf and Dumb Schools, Blind/Physically Challenged Schools in and around Shirdi and also to destitutes and needy people at Shirdi Bus Stand.

Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shri.Arun Dongre informed Media Persons through a Press Release that around 2500 food packets were distributed on behalf of Sansthan near Shirdi Police Station at 6:00 pm in the evening on Sunday, 29th March 2020 to people travelling from Karnataka to Rajasthan.

Shri.Dongre said that with a view to prevent the spread of dreaded Corona virus in the State and across the Country, the Government of India and all State Governments have forced complete lockdown. Owing to this decision, many outstation workers are relocating back to their hometown again. Accordingly, about 2500 people were travelling via 66 buses from Karnataka to Rajasthan. When these people halted on their way in Shirdi, Sansthan distributed food packets containing Chapati, Vegetable Curry and Masala Bath to them. On the occasion, Sansthan and District Police Personnel distributed food packets with highest safety under special supervision.

On behalf of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, the Sansthan Ad-hoc committee has taken a decision to donate Rs.51 Crores to the Chief Minister Relief Fund to assist in the fight against the dreaded Corona Virus which is taking its toll on the Country and the State. This information was provided by Sansthan Chief Executive Officer Shri. Arun Dongre at a Press Conference held on Friday, 27th March 2020.   

Shri.Dongre said that the Central and the State Governments are fully geared-up to fight dreaded Corona virus which is spreading across the World and the Country. On this backdrop, the Sansthan Ad-hoc committee of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, has taken a decision to donate Rs.51 Crores to the Chief Minister Relief Fund to assist in the fight against the dreaded Corona Virus. 

On behalf of Sansthan Shri Sai Prasadalaya, free food is being supplied to the patients and relatives at Shri Sai Baba Hospital and Shri Sainath Hospital, Orphanages in Shirdi area, old age homes, Deaf and Dumb Schools, Police personnel on Bandobast duties, destitute and needy people at Shridi Bus Depot and staff working at the Sansthan and Government offices for security, cleanliness and other relatedworks.  

Towards breakfast for Police personnel on bandobast duties in village areas, 3,000 Boondi and 3,000 chiwda packets are being supplied to the District Police Headquarters.

Shri.Dongre said that assistance from Sansthan has also been provided earlier during national disasters and natural calamities. Prominent among them being Rs.5 Crore which was provided for flood affected persons from Kerala, Rs.12 Crore for flood affected persons from Maharashtra and Rs.2.51 Crore for assisting the families of Pulwama Martyrs.

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) informed Media Persons through a Press Release on Tuesday, 24th March 2020 that as a preventive measure to stop the progress of Corona Virus the Ad-Hoc Committee of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi has taken a decision to cancel Shri Rama Navami Festival -2020 which was scheduled to be held from Wednesday, 1st April 2020 to Friday, 3rd April 2020 in Shirdi.

Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Arun Dongre informed Media Persons at a Press Conferene on Tuesday, 17th March 2020 that as a preventive measure to stop the spread of Corona Virus, the Ad-hoc Committee of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi has taken a decision to shut down darshan at Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir for Sai devotees. However, regular traditional rituals like Puja,Archana etc will continue as per schedule.

Shri.Dongre said that large number of patients affected by Corona Virus have been reported in some countries across the world and some patients affected by the Virus have also been found in India. Shri Kshetra Shirdi is No. 2 Religious center in the country and Sai devotees from across the world and from different parts of India arrive at Shirdi to have a glimpse of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi. This creates a huge throughfare of Devotees in and around Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir. State Government has issued guidelines to prevent further spread of dreaded Corona Virus. In the meantime, instructions have been issued not to let rush of people at religious places and social public centers. With this background, the Ad-hoc Committee of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi has taken a decision to shut down darshan at Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir for Sai devotees from 3.00 pm onwards on 17th March 2020. However, regular traditional rituals like Puja,Archana etc will continue as per schedule. Regular Shri Sai Palakhi taken on every Thursday will also continue and for this the Priests and essential Sansthan staff members would be present.

At the same time, the Shri Sai Prasadalaya and Bhakt Niwas Sthan run under the auspices of Sansthan will also be closed during this period. The Devotees who have booked Online Darshan will be allowed till 3.00 pm on 17th March 2020. The ONLINE Darshan booking available at the website has also been closed. The information about this change is being provided to the devotees through E-mail, telephone and Website. Apart from this the Gavkari gate will also be closed during this period and all these regulations will be in place till further orders from the Government. Shri.Dongre has appealed to Shri Sai Devotees to kindly make note of the changes and co-operate.

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi in association with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), New Delhi had organized Corona Virus Guidance Camp for its employees on Saturday, 7th March 2020. Commaner Shri.A.K.Jena and Doctor Shri.Rahul Waghmore provided information about remedies to fight the dreaded disease at the Camp.

 

In this camp organized under the able guidance of Sansthan Executive Officer Shri.Arun Dongre and Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Ravindra Thakre, administratie officers Shri.Suryaban Game, Shri.Ashok Auti, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shri.Madhukar Gangwane, Deputy Chief Engineer Shri.Raghunath Aher, Heads of all Departments as well as employees of all departments of Sansthan participated in large numbers.

Corona Virus infection has spread in some countries around the World and some cases of Corona Virus infection have also been reported in India. Sai devotees from different parts of our country and from all corners of the World flock to Shirdi to have a glimpse of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi. Due to this, there will be huge rush of devotees in and around Temple Complex. In order to take precautionary measures and to prevent the spread of dreaded corona virus disease, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), New Delhi had organized a Corona Virus Guidance Camp for Sansthan Employees inside temple complex, near Gate No.1 at 8 am.

On this occasion, Commander Shri.A.K.Jena and Doctor Shri.Rahul Waghmore from National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), New Delhi gave useful guidance on taking precautionary measures to prevent the spread of dreaded corona virus disease by using preventive materials by way of direct demonstration. At the same time, Commander Shri.A.K.Jena and Doctor Shri.Rahul Waghmore also instructed all the employees to pay more attention towards cleanliness of their bodies and their surroundings without worrying much about the disease.

A separate Isolation Ward has been created in both the hospitals run by Sansthan as a preventive measure against the dreaded Corona Virus Disease. Also, as a preventive measure towards creating public awareness, Sansthan has put up Information Boards in and around Temple Premises and also at crowded places in Shirdi. In addition, in Cloak Rooms, Drinking Water Facility area and at important places, liquid soap has been arranged for the visitors to wash their hands. The training camp organized today helped to get special information about Corona Virus and its elimination.

Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shri.Deepak Mugalikar informed Media Persons through a Press Release on Saturday, 18th January 2020 that darshan at Shri Saibaba Samadhi Mandir, all the four Aartis and all the daily religious traditions will continue as usual on Sunday 19th January 2020 and thereafter and all the Sansthan facilities such as Shri Sai Prasadalaya, all Bhakt Niwas locations and Hospitals etc., would be functioning regularly as always.

Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shri.Deepak Mugalikar informed Media Persons through a Press Release on Tuesday, 14th January 2020 that Shri Sai Baba Sansthan in association with M/s.Girish Opticals, Mumbai have organized a free Eye Check Up and Spectacle distribution Camp on Saturday, 18th January 2020 at Shri Sainath Hospital Shirdi.

Shri.Mugalikar said that Shri Saibaba Hospital and Shri Sainath Hospital are organizing various camps throughout the year. These include free Cataract and Squint Eye Correction Surgery Camp, Blood Donation Camp, Kidney Stone Camp, free Artificial Foot and Limbs Camp and other camps. Likewise, on Saturday, 18th January 2020, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan in association with M/s.Girish Opticals, Mumbai have organized a free Eye Check Up and Spectacle distribution Camp at Shri Sainath Hospital, Shirdi. In this camp, Shri.Prakash Gangwani along with his Co Workers from M/s.Girish Opticals, Mumbai, will be conducting free Eye Check Up Camp and 500 free spectacles will be distributed to needy patients. Also, Medical Officers Dr.Manish Agarwal, Dr.Ajith Patil, Dr.Anagha Vikhe and Dr.Prajakta Kharche from Shri Sainath Hospital will be participating in this Camp.

In order to participate in this Camp, patients must register their names at Shri Sainath Hospital. Also, for any additional information, patients can contact enquiry department on telephone number 02423-258555. Patients should carry copy of Ration Card, Aadhar Card and Passport size photograph along with them in order to avail treatment at this camp. Mauritian Minister for Land Transport & Light Rail Shri.Alan Ganoo visited Shirdi on Thursday, 16th January 2020 and had Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi Darshan. Shri.Alan Ganoo informed media persons that 5 to 6 small temples dedicated to Shri Sai Baba have come up and also a magnificent Sai Baba Temple is coming up at Gangalek at Mauritius.

Shri.Ganoo paid visit to Shirdi to have Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi darshan. Sansthan Chief Executive Officer Shri.Deepak Mugalikar welcomed and felicitated the Minister on the occasion. Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Ravindra Thakre, Shri.G.A.Ganoo from Mauritius, Chairman of M/s.Sterling Publishers Shri.Surendra K.Ghai, Shri.Rakesh Juneja and others were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri.Ganoo said that about 60% hindus reside in Mauritius. Also, there are 5 to 6 small temples dedicated to Shri Sai Baba that attracts large number of Sai devotees. Therefore, we have decided to construct a grand temple of Shri Sai Baba at Gangalek at Mauritius and the place for construction has been finalized. Shri.Ganoo also said that it was a great pleasure to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba today in Shirdi.

Chief Executive Officer of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Shri.Deepak Mugalikar informed Media Persons through a Press Release on Saturday, 4th January 2020 that Shri Sai Baba Sansthan distributed around 11,000 different tree Saplings to Sai Devotees who visited Shirdi to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba with a view to support the Government's ambitious project of planting 33 crore trees as part of National Festival of Tree Planting (Van Mahotsav) and to bring awarness about tree planting and environment protection.

Shri.Mugalikar said that in order to support the Government's ambitious project of planting 33 crore trees as part of National Festival of Tree Planting (Van Mahotsav), to bring awarness about tree planting and environment protection and with a view to provide shade and happy environment to Sai devotees, Sansthan has planted 1000 trees in Sansthan premises and surroundings. This tree plantation will help in reducing pollution and in balancing the environment. At a function held on 26th July 2019, Sansthan Chairman Dr.Suresh Haware freely distributed 1000 neem tree saplings to Sai devotees. Likewise, at a function held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, 17th September 2019, Sansthan Trustee Shri.Bipindada Kolhe freely distributed 1500 neem tree saplings to Sai devotees.

As part of this initiative, from 7th October 2019 onwards Shri Sai Baba Sansthan, Shirdi is regularly distributing tree saplings of various trees in the form of Prasad to Sai devotes in front of Gate No.5 near Lendi Baugh so that devotees can take along with them and plant them in their respective homes. In order to inform Sai devotees about this intitiative of Sansthan, notice boards in different languages have been put at different places inside Sansthan premises. With a view to promote and spread the initiative, Sai devotees from different States have been allotted the Seva of free tree saplings distribution for the benefit of Sai devotees. A variety of Tree saplings like Ashoka, Rosewood, Hibiscus, Tamarind, Malbar, Neem etc. have been included in this free tree saplings distribution program.

Shri.Mugalikar said that till now Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has distributed around 11,000 different tree Saplings to Sai Devotees as part of this free tree saplings distribution programme. Shri.Mugalikar concluded by saying that this free tree saplings distribution programme would be implemented on a continuous basis in future as well.
