Well known Sai Personality and Translator of Shri Sai Satcharitra OVI to OVI in Telugu Ms.Mani Amma Passes Away – Courtesy: Shri.Leeladhar, Hyderabad Ms.Mani Amma aged 87 years, who translated Shri Sai Satcharitra OVI to OVI in Telugu merged in the Divine Lotus Feet of Shri Sainath Maharaj at 6 pm at her residence on Saturday, 17th December 2016.
Ms.Mani Amma She had dedicated her entire life to the service of Sai Baba and had established Sai Mandir in Kishenbagh, a prominent Slum Area in Hyderabad & was residing there only offering her services to Lord Sainath day and night. She first visited Shirdi in the year 1940 and ad been visiting Shirdi regularly since then. Her longest stay in Shirdi was from 1973 to 1978 and during this time she had spent her time by serving Baba in the Samadhi Mandir, Dwaraka Mai, Gurusthan and Chavadi. She used to stay where ever possible, if she did not find place, she used to sleep near the Gurusthan. During her stay she started doing the parayan of Satcharitra and complety fell in love with the Satcharitra and was impressed so much that she thought, if the Devotees in Telugu could enjoy the beauty of Satcharitra and then started translating the Satcharitra by learning Marathi and also taking help from the various devotees who used to visit Shirdi or reside in Shirdi. She could able to complete about 9 Chapters in Shirdi and then she came back to Hyderabad and completed another 20 chapters by 1983. Then she got immersed in constructing a Babas temple at Kishan Bagh, and completely forgot the translation work. Then the editors of Sai Vani a monthy Magazine came to her and requested her to contribute some articles to the Magazine and a thought arose in Mani Amma, why not publish the Satcharitra in the Magazine, so the publication of the Satcharitra in the Magazine started and then she started to complete the remaining chapters and the translation work was completed in 1991. She then published the book and it was a huge sell out, and then 2 more editions got printed. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan took up the publication work in 2005. The holy Shri Sai Satcharita translated by Mani Amma later got translated to Kannada and Tamil languages also. Apart from Shri Sai Satcharitra She translated many other works on Sai Baba also in Telugu Language. Her last work was translation of the famous Marathi Masterpiece of Dr.Keshav Bhagawant Gawankar "Shirdiche Sai Baba" which is yet to be published. The demise of Ms.Mani Amma is a great loss to the Sai World especially Telugu speaking Sai Devotees who will be indebted ever to her for the wonderful Selfless Sai Devotee Seva that she carried throughout her life. Speaking on the occasion, Shri.Suresh Haware said that because of the introduction of this Biometric based Free Darshan Tickets (based on Time Slot), from today onwards there is no need for devotees to wait for long hours for darshan. Because of this, devotee's precious time is saved which can be utilized for some other important work. Sri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi will be celebrating Sri Sai Baba's Maha Samadhi Centenary Celebrations from 1st October 2017 to 18th of October 2018. In order to plan & decide on the the Centenary Celebrations, Sansthan has invited Trustees from all the sai Baba Temples all over the World. This meeting titled "Global Summit of Sri Sai Temple Trustees" will be inaugurated by Sri.Sudhir Munangtiwar, Finance & Planning Minister of Maharashtra at 10:00 am on Sunday, 11th December 2016. Sri.Girish Mahajan, Minister for Water Resources & Medical Education will be the Chief Guest. Minister for Water Conservation and Protocol Prof.Ram shinde, Opposition Party's Leader Sri.Radha Krishna Vikhe Patil & Sri.Sadhashiva Lokande will also be present in the Summit. This meeting will be having four sessions. In the first session, inauguration ceremony, in the second session trustees from various Sai Temples will be expressing their views on Centenary Celebrations, in the third session there will be discussion on how to spread & publish the Sri Sai Baba's work and in the final session conclusion will be held. This programme will be held at Sri Sai Ashram Bhakti Nivas, Nagar-Manmad Road. In this programme it is expected that a huge gathering of trustees of Sri Sai temples from all over the world will be present. Dome Shamayana Mantap of 21,600 sq feet will be erected, around 2500 seating arrangements have been made and also Big LED screens put up in the meeting place. Around 14,500 square feet Shamayana Mantap have been arranged for serving Lunch to all Sai Temple Trustees. There will be sale of books, photos & CD's published by Sansthan in the meeting area. Similary for the benefit of guests, there will be Laddu Prasad Counter near the meeting area which will be operational between 6 AM to 10 PM. Accommodation facilities has been arranged to all the delegates at Sai Ashram. Important Decisions made by Chairman Dr.Suresh Haware and Trustees of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi Free Bhojan Scheme Due To Samadhi Centenary Year Celebration Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust has continued the service of providing meal to the devotees which was started during the period of Shri Sai Baba Himself. The number of devotees coming to Shirdi from various corners of the country and abroad is increasing day by day. With a view to provide Prasad Bhojan for the devotees, Sansthan trust has started the huge Prasadalaya in Nimgaon-Korhale on a sprawling 7 acre land. Hundred years will be completed for Sai Samadhi in the year 2018. Therefore, Sansthan Trust has declared to celebrate from 1st October, 2017 to 18th October, 2018 as a centenary year of Sai Samadhi. Apart from various amenities to be provided, Sansthan Trust has taken the decision to provide free meals during the whole year. Therefore, philanthropist devotees are hereby appealed to donate generously on the occasion of their or relatives birthday or in loving memories of their relatives. Such devotees can pay Rs.8 lakh per day for the period of festivals including Shri Ramnavami, Shri Gurupoornima and Shri Sai Baba Punyatithi. For other days in the centenary year, they can pay Rs.4 lakh per day. If it is not possible to pay the complete amount by single person, group of devotees can come together and can contribute Rs.50,000 or more. There has been a overwhelming response for the Scheme so far. Rs.26 Lakhs has been contributed by Shri.K.V.Ramani from Shirdi Sai Trust,Chennai. Rs.5 Lakhs has been contributed by Shri.Mitesh Rati from Bhopal. Shri.Angamathyu from Karur has contributed Rs.4 Lakh. Totally 35 Lakh rupees has been collected so far under this scheme. Free Ambulance Service During the sojourn of Shri Sai Baba, He extended his services to the patients and cured their illness. This work is continued by Sansthan Trust without break. At present, medical facilities are given to the needy patients through Sansthan’s Shri Sai Baba Hospital and Shri Sainath Hospital. However, Board of Trustees is willing to extend the medical services to the people in rural and remote places by providing 500 ambulances to the NGOs in the State through joint contribution by Sansthan and through funds donated by philanthropist Sai devotees. 500 ambulances will have to be purchased to execute this mission. The cost of purchase of one ambulance is Rs.3 lakhs. The NGO interested to monitor ambulance will have to pay 25 percent amount and remaining 75 percent amount will be borne from devotee's donations who is willing to join this mission. Such donors can give the donations on their birthdays or their relatives birthday or in loving memories of their relatives. The names of such devotees will be displayed on the respective ambulance along with the name of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi. These ambulances will run around entire Maharashtra State by the name ‘Sai Ambulance’ and it shall be monitored by the concerned NGO. Free Dialysis facility Shri Sai Baba Hospital is providing free dialysis facility for the needy patients. In the last 10 years more than 9,00,000 patients were admitted at in-patient ward. 1,50,000 patients were treated for various diseases. More than 20,000 patients have used Free Kidney dialysis facility till now. Currently Sansthan’s Hospital is equipped with 4 dialysis equipments and the hospital is planning to buy 4 more equipments. Volunteer Service Volunteer Service initiative at Shri Kshetra Gajanan Maharaj Temple, at Shegaon was decided by the trustees. To provide proper ventilation and air circulation in Darshan Hall it is decided to change the windows and provide more fans in Darshan Queue. It is also decided to make Air conditioned Queue hall and to keep “RO Water purifier plant ” to make devotees feel comfortable. Pure Drinking water is being distributed. Tea, coffee, milk, biscuits are being given free of charge to all the devotees. VIP Darshan Passes Without Recommendation There was a system called “VIP darshan” which was existing earlier. In this system pass was being issued to those who brought recommendation letters from MP, MLA, Ministers. We noticed many people started taking advantage of this facility. When Devotee needs God’s darshan there was no need for recommendation from a third person. Hence we stopped this system. Now we have started issuing Online Darshan Passes. Important Decision Of Planned Darshan Considering the increasing crowd coming to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba, to have easy and smooth darshan for the devotees without spending much time in Darshan Queue, Sansthan Management Committee has decided to implement Planned Darshan based on the lines of Tirupati very shortly. Planned Darshan Queue Complex Due to the ever increasing crowd coming to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba, the current Queue system is not able to manage and is not sufficient. Hence there is a plan of renovating the Temple premises and Old prasadalay. This includes joing of old prasadalay into temple premises. There is a plan of building 12 Halls in new Queue complex in 1st and 2nd Floor with a capacity of 2500 people in each hall, all put together 30,000 people at a time in new Queue complex. In the new Queue complex, 3 main entrance hall, Toilet block, Information centre, Ladu distribution centre, Udi distribution centre, Donation counter, ATM faciltiy, Book Sale counters, Baby Feeding Rooms, KIOSK, First aid centre, 55 thousand lockers to keep Mobile and Footwear are being planned . New Hospital Building Due to increase inflow of patients at Shri Sainath Hospital and Sai Baba Hospital, more beds needs to be accommodated. Hence, it was decided to award contract to architects to build a new building at the free space available near west side of the hospital at the survey no 148. Educational Project and Medical College Plan Under Educational Project currently Sai Baba Junior College, Shri Sai Baba Industrial Training Center, Shri Sai Baba Girls School, Shri Sai Baba English Medium School are running. In future, there are plans top commence Senior College, Skill Development Programmes, University, E-Projects. Also there is a plan to make most advanced education systems amongst all the institutions in the coming days. A huge building will be constructed and all the educational activities will be transferred to the new building. Water Supply Scheme Sansthan is using water from Kankuri Lake situated on the right side canal of Godavari. .In future it is planned to take water from Nilvande Dam permanently. It has been planned to put up a new pipe line and take water from Nilvande Dam. Under this project, it is planned to set up 80 kms pipeline with the capacity of 23 MLD along with water purification plant. Sai Creation Project Under Sai Creation Project, it is planned to show Baba’s life history right from Baba arrived in Shirdi till Mahasamadhi through POP models with Lights and Audio systems. Also there is a plan to start Library and Mediation hall for the benefit of Sai Devotees. Sai City Project To provide more facilities to Sai devotees, there is a proposal to start “Sai City”. This will mainly consist of Theme park, Entertainment Park, Healing Hub, Spiritual Centre, Mediation Centre, Ayurvedic Therapy Centre, Landscaping Park and Cottages, Resorts etc. M/s.Tata Consulting Engineers, Mumbai have already created a layout plan to develop this project.. Underground Pass There is a plan of making an underground pass of 1 meter wide and 30 meter length in 5 places for the benefit of devotees and shirdi local residents to cross on the high way of Nagar-Manmad passing Shirdi at Prasadalay, Old Pimpalwadi Road, New Pimpalwadi Road, near Shirdi Bus stand and infront of Bhakti Nivas. Theme park (Sai Gardens) There will a Laser show based on Baba’s life history for the benefit of Sai devotees coming from all over the World. Also there will be entertainment for Sai devotees in Sai Garden through laser shows but at the same time Baba’s teachings will be shown. Free Prasad Meals For Sai Devotees On 9th and 10th November 2016 At Sai Prasadalaya - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) As Everyone is already aware, the Union Finance Ministry has ordered to stop use of currency notes of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 denominations from midnight 12 O’ clock of 8th November 2016 as per its orders issued on 8th November 2016. Hence, in order to avoid inconvenience to the devotees coming to Shirdi, free Prasad Meals facility will be provided on 9th and 10th November 2016 at Shri Sai Baba Sansthan's Sai Prasadalaya. This was disclosed through a Press Release on Wednesday, 9th November 2016 by Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde. Shri.Shinde added that with effect from the midnight 12 O’ clock of 8th November 2016, the currency notes of Rs.1000 and Rs.500 denominations will not be used for any transaction. Shri.Haware said, since 1988, Yearly Exgratia is being distributed to Sansthan Employees during Deepavali. This year Sansthan decided to give Exgratia of 8.33% on Gross Salary and hence there was a management meeting held on 9th October 2016 to decide on this subject. However, it was necessary to get approval from Law and Justice Department of Maharashtra Government for issuing the Exgratia. Late Dr.Zaveri The story behind how Shri Sai Baba's holy Padukas were given to Dr.Zaveri from Pune is mentioned below for the benefit of Sai Devotees: Shri.Raikar resident of Mumbai visited shirdi and stayed with Baba in Dwarakamai Masjid for 7 days (few years before Baba's Maha Samadhi). In those 7 days he had lot of experiences and saw some unique miracles by Baba when he was alone with Baba during night times. Later he turned into a great devotee and when leaving Shirdi Baba gave him one cloth having his foot prints and said to him that after 20 years of My Samadhi there will be a person whom you will meet in your life. You have to give this cloth along with a guru mantra that I am going to give you now and uttered a guru mantra in his ear. Baba also told him that you will forget this mantra until you meet that person. He clearly made a sketch of hand with a fish on palm and said to Raikar that you have to identify the person with same hand impression and give this cloth and mantra to him. Also ask that person to make 2 Sets of Paduka one of stone and other of Peetal and do place the cloth I gave to you near to Paduka and chant Guru mantra daily for 36 years. Raikar agreed and was eager to meet such a person. During his last few days Raikar was admitted to one hospital on Mumbai and met Dr.Zaveri and while seeing his hand (as he was famous for palm reading which Baba taught him for his living) he realized that he is same person and showed him the palm sketch given by Baba to him which was having fish and exactly same. Dr. Zaveri was surprised but still he did not believe. Then Shri Raikar said two other near happenings as told by Baba to him. When same situation occurred as told by Shri.Raikar, Dr.Zaveri believed him and meet him. Mr.Raikar has given the holy cloth having Babas footprint and gurumantras to him. After that Raikar breathed last and his rituals were done by Dr.Zaveri as Raikar has no relatives. Then Dr.Zaveri did made two set of padukas using Babas footprint from holy cloth as directed by Baba and placed cloths on paduka and started guru mantra chanting and meditation. When he opened eyes cloth disappeared and looked like it got merged in Padukas only. After that as per direction by Baba to Raikar he did chant guru mantra daily during midnigh. He used to wake up and chant the guru mantra. After doing this service for 36 years continuously for every single day without missing a day, he opened the same for darshan to everyone as directed by Baba to Mr.Raikar. This paduka is very holy and during Pooja Dr.Zaveri has seen many miracles including increasing length of Garland which was placed on Babas photo till it covers paduka also. In the evening between 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm Sai Devotional Songs programme by Shri.Ram Uddhav Rao kotekar and Mehkar was held. Shri.Sachin Tambe was speaking at a meeting held to organize Baba's Palanquin, Chariot Procession and Bhiksha Jholi Programmes. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust is continuing the legacy of holding Palanquin and Chariot Procession during all major festival days and Palanquin Procession on every Thursdays in an organized manner. To have darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Palanquin and Chariot Procession, people from all over the world flock to Shirdi in large numbers. Due to huge surge of crowd during these occasions to have darshan of Palanquin and Chariot Procession, there is a severe blockage resulting in devotees not able to have smooth darshan. The major crowd being Ladies and Children, to deal with them and taking care of them during these occasion is of prime importance. In this crowd, crimes like Pickpocketing happens in large scale. Hence, Shri.Sachin Tambe instructed the Officers of Security Department to handle these kind of problems in proper way.
Shri.Sachin Tambe has solicited cooperation from local villagers and Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Staff Members to enable devotees to have smooth darshan of Palanquin/Chariot Procession. Due to steady increase of Devotees coming to Shirdi from different parts of the Country and World for having Shri Sai Baba’s Samadhi Darshan, there is a significant increase in crimes like Pickpocketing, Mobile Theft, Cheating, Stealing Valuables like Jewellery. Hence, It was decided in Shri Sai Baba sansthan’s Management Committee meeting to appoint a New Special Security Team to avoid such crimes within Sansthan premises.
This Special Secutiry team will be patrolling) Sansthan premises like Dwarkamai, Chavadi, Gurusthan, Maruti Mandir premises, Mukhdarshan Hall, PRO Office, Sai Prasadalya Booking, Darshan Gate Numbers 1 & 2, Opposite to Sai Udhyan Road etc. Also on every Thursday during Palanquijn Procession and on all major festival days when there is Palanquin & Chariot Procession, this Special Security Force will be active. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan, Shirdi Police & Local Villagers will be in constan touch with the Special Security Force Team. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust Shirdi Management Committee meeting was held by the Chairman Shri Suresh Haware. Vice Chairman Shri.Chandrashekar Kadam, Trustees Shri.Bhausaheb Wakchaure, Shri. It was also decided in the meeting to develop a Mobile Application for the benefit of Sai Devotees. Sansthan’s Various activities, various facilities for the devotees, information on various religious programmes held in Sansthan will be available in this mobile application. Free WI-FI Internet Services will be provided to the devotees at Sai Prasadalay and All Sansthan’s accommodation facilities. It was decided to organise various cultural programmes, discourses, enlighting Lectures , Kirtan on every Ekadashi & Punyatithi day of Saints every day between 4 pm to 6 pm & 7.30 pm to 10 pm near Northern part of the Garden. Due to increase inflow of patients at Shri Sainath Hospital and Sai Baba Hospital, more beds needs to be accommodated. Hence, it was decided in the meeting to give contract to architects to build a new building at the free space available near west side of the hospital at the survey no 148 . it was also decided in the meeting to purchase 2 vehicles for Shri Sai Baba Hospital & Shri Sainath hospital to carry dead bodies and one Cardiac Ambulance. Free Dialysis service will also be provided in these Hospitals. Emergency Medical Services will be put in place to control the community diseases by Sansthan’s Hospital. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Plans To Proive 500 Ambulances to Non-Government Organizations (NGO) - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) With a view to provide immediate medical facilities to the people in rural and remote places in Maharashtra, Board of Trustees of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi is willing to make the availability of 500 ambulances and to give it to the non-government organizations (NGOs) in the State through the joint contribution by Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust and donations from interested philanthropists Sai devotees. Chairman of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Suresh Haware has appealed to all the Sai devotees to participate in this mission by donating funds generously. Shri.Haware said that during the sojourn of Shri Sai Baba, He extended his services to the patients and cured their illness. This work is continued by Sansthan Trust without break. At present, medical facilities are given to the needy patients through Sansthan’s Shri Sai Baba Hospital and Shri Sainath Hospital. Shinde said that Sansthan trust has continued the service of providing meal to the devotees which was started during the period of Shri Sai Baba Himself. The number of devotees coming to Shirdi from various corners of the country and abroad is increasing day by day. With a view to provide Prasad Bhojan for the devotees, Sansthan trust has started the huge Prasadalaya in Nimgaon-Korhale on a sprawling 7 acre land. Hundred years will be completed for Sai Samadhi in the year 2018. Therefore, Sansthan Trust has declared to celebrate from 1st October, 2017 to 18th October, 2018 as a centenary year of Sai Samadhi. Apart from various amenities to be provided, Sansthan Trust has taken the decision to provide free meals during the whole year. Therefore, philanthropist devotees are hereby appealed to donate generously on the occasion of their or relatives birthday or in loving memories of their relatives. M/s. Mahindra & Mahindra Udyog Group has spent Rupees 2 Crore 15 Lakhs for the Water Reservoir with a storage capacity of 4.2 Crore Litres of water on a sprawling 5 acres of land for Shri Sai Baba Sansthan, Trust Shirdi at Kankuri Shivara Village, Rahata Taluk. The Length of this Reservoir is 121 meters, Width is 105 meters, & Depth is 3.8 meters respectively. This project was completed in a duration of 90 days. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan celebrate Guru Poornima Festival - 2016 - A Report - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Guru Poornima festival 2016 organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) began on Monday, 18th July 2016 on a very enthusiastic note with Sai devotees from all over Maharashtra and other states coming with large number of Palanquins. Shri Sai Baba Palkhi Sohala Samiti, Pune are coming to Shirdi with Palanquins for Guru Poornima Festival for the last 28 years. About 3000 devotees had come along with Palanquins to Shirdi this time. Women Dressed in traditional Maharashtrian Turban (Puneri Feta), Chariot decorated by Various Indian & Foreign country flowers were the main attraction of the Palanquin Procession. Shirdi town wore a festive look and reverberated with the sound emerging from the drums that accompanied the Palanquins. Due to the generous contribution from K.C Subramani Yadav from Bengaluru flower decoration was made inside Samadhi Mandir and surrounding areas. Attractive Lighting in the temple premises was made by M/s.Sairaj Decorators from Mumbai.
On the occasion of first day of Guru Poornima festival, procession of Saibaba's Portrait, Veena and Sai Satcharita (Pothi) was held on Monday, 18th July 2016. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan tri-member committee Member and Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trus (Shirdi) Shri.Bajirao Shinde carried holy Sai Satcharita (Pothi). Deputy Executive Officer Dr.Sandeep Aher and Temple Chief Shri.Rajendra Jagtap carried Sri Sai Baba’s Photo respectively. Temple Poojari Shri.Vilas Joshi carried Veena in this proceesion. Local villagers & Devotees participated in large numbers in the procession.
After the procession arrived in Dwarakamai, Akhanda Parayan of the holy Shri Sai Satcharitra was started by the Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Bajirao Shinde. He read first chapter of holy Shri Sai Satcharitra while the 2nd Chapter was read by Deputy Executive Officer Dr Sandeep Aher.
Later, the Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Bajirao Shinde and Smt.Seema Shinde performed the Aradhana Vidhi (Pooja of Holy Paduka and Samadhi) at the Samadhi Mandir. Deputy Executive Officer Dr Sandeep Aher & his wife Smt. Kalpana Aher were also present on the occasion.
Afternoon Aarti was performed at 12:30 PM. In the evening from 4 PM o 6 PM Keertan programme from H.B.P.Shri.Mahdavrao Ajgaonkar was held. At 7.30 pm Kuchipudi programme & Sai Bhakti Sangeet programme by Smt.K.Swarna Shree from Vijayawada. At 9 pm “Gomantakatil Ghumtavaril Aratiya” (Traditional Aarti's on all Gods and Goddesses sung by playing Matkas (Pot) followed by the Goans) by Shri.Premanand Krishna kochrekar from Goa was held on the stage at Samadhi Mandir. At 9:15 Sai Baba’s Palanquin procession was held. 18th July 2016, Monday, being the first day of the festival Dwarkamai was kept open throughout the night for Akhanda Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan. On the first day Free Prasad Bhojan was organized for all the devotees due to generous contribution by N.Murali Krishna from Hyderabad in the remembrance of his father Late Shri.K.Namudarai Kanaka Durga. On the the occasion of 2nd day and main day of Gurupoornima festival on Tuesday, 19th July 2016, lakhs of devotees came from different places from State & Country and had darshan of Baba’s Samadhi.

Akhanda Parayan of the holy Shri Sai Satcharitra was completed. The holy book of Shri Sai Satcharitra pothi was brought from Dwarkamai in procession along with Baba’s photograph and Veena via Gurusthan to Samadhi Mandir. Shri.Shinde said that to provide accommodation to Sai devotees who are coming from different parts of the State and the Country, Shamiyaana will be put up at different locations like Temple premises, Sai Prasada Bhakta Nivas car parking area and similarly to accommodate the Palkhi’s coming from Mumbai to Shirdi and Pune to Shirdi, Shamiyaana’s have been covered with plastic sheets in the Villages like Shingave Naik, Gruha & Nirmal Pimpri on Ahmedanagar Shirdi highway. This season being the rainy season, all these Shamiyaana’s have been covered with plastic sheets. This was disclosed to Media Persons at a Press Conference held on Thursday, 26th May 2016. In all 632 Students from Sai Baba Junior College run by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust Shirdi, had appeared in the twelveth standard examination which was conducted during March 2016. Out of 632 students 581 students passed out and achieved a pass percentrage of 91.93%. Like every year this year also Sai Baba Junior College continued its trend of giving outstanding and bright results. 210 students passed out of 220 students who had appeared in the Science subject and achieved a pass percentrage of 95.45%. Shri.Piyush Goyal, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy, Government of India will be giving away this prestigious award on 29th April 2016 at New Delhi. Shri.Shinde said, to save fuel cost Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust Shirdi started Solar Steam Cooking Project at the Terrace of Shri Sai Prasadalay. On an average about 2800 Kilograms of Solar Steam is produced everyday, thereby around 2 tonnes of Rice & Dal is boiled and fed around 20,000 Devotees every day. Therefore till date about 1,00,000 Kilograms of LPG gas has been saved. Hence Sansthan has saved around Rs60,00,000 (Rupees Sixty Lakh Only). Overall this project has become a trend setter in the Country for biggest Environment friendly and biggest usage of Solar Energy. To promote Solar Energy usage in the country Ministry of Power & Energy has started competition and decided to give Concentrated Solar Thermal (CST) Technology Excellence Awards -2016. The Entrance was also decorated beautifully with display of holy Shri Sai Satcharitra Books.
Shri Ramanavami utsav organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust Shirdi started on a very good note on Thursday, 14th April 2016.The entire Shirdi town reverberated with huge Sai Naam Jaykar from lakhs of Sai devotees who came along with more than 100 Palanquins from various places of Maharashtra, Madhyapradesh & Gujarat and took Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi darshan in this festival . On the first day of the festival, after the morning Kakad Aarti, procession of Saibaba's Portrait, Idol, Veena and the holy Sai Satcharitra were taken out upto Dwarkamai. Shri Sai Baba Hospital succuessfully completes 3 years of Rajiv Gandhi Life and Health Plan– Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) The Executive officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust(Shirdi) Shri.Bajirao Shinde informed media persons at a press conference held on Friday, 26th February 2016 that under the Rajiv Gandhi Life & Health Plan which was rolled out 3 years back, a total of 12,780 Patients have been successfully treated & operated at Shri Sai Baba Hospital. Shri.Shinde said that Rajiv Gandhi Life & Health plan was started on 14th February 2013 at Shri Sai Baba Hospital. Till date 26,023 Patients have been registered & Free Consultation provided to them in the Out Patient Department. Under this plan, 12,780 Patients were treated & operated for various diseases like Heart Diseases, Heart Operation, Kidney Disorder, Orthopaedic, Brain Surgery, ICU Treatment etc . Under this plan, 131 Surgeries for various Diseases and free re-examination have been performed. Till date for 4,700 Patients free Re-Examination has been done & for 1 year Free Medicines have been disbursed. Under this plan every day, on an average about 100 patients are being registered & Free Out Patient Department Slips are given. Similarly, identical number of Patients are being registered at Inpatient Department. Seeing the ever increasing demand of Patients Registration in the Hospital, under the able guidance of Medical Director Dr.Vijay Patil, New Window Counters Plan was started by Dr.Pritam Vadgave & Hosptial’s Public Relations Officer Shri.Ashok Waluj. In order to reduce the heavy rush at the Registration Counters, Hospital authorities added one more Window Counter & the other two Window Counters were used for the purpose of Out Patient Department Case Papers & Examination. Overall, 4 Window Counters were started by Dr.Pritam Vadgave. Apart from this, Token System has been started for the Registration under the Rajiv Gandhi Life & Health Plan. Because of this initiative, Patients are not required to wait for long time for Registration of their names. Therefore, Shri.Shinde has requested all the citizens of Shirdi & in and around villages to register their names on all Sundays and use this facility provided by the Hospital. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Enhances VIP Aarti/Darshan Pass Rates - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) The Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Bajirao Shinde informed media persons through a Press Release on Thursday, 25th February 2016 that with effect from Tuesday, 1st March 2016, the charges for VIP Aarti/Darshan will be enhanced because less number of devotees are availing this facility at present. This move will also help devotees in the regular General Queue to get faster Darshan/Aarti. He also informed media persons that new Pass Issuing Counters will be started for the benefit of devotees staying in various Bhakti Nivas accommodation facilities. This decision was taken in the meeting of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Management Committee which was held on 19th February 2016. Shri. Bajirao Shinde said that every day nearly 40,000 to 50,000 Devotees from different parts of Country & World are taking darshan of Shri Sai Baba. Earlier all the devotees were using Free/ General Darshan Queue for availing Shri Sai Baba’s Samadhi Darshan. Boondi Prasad will be distributed to all the devotees who are coming in the Queue for Darshan. Later on, the demand for availing VIP passes was increasing day by day. To control the increasing VIP passes and to facilitate more Devotees to have the benefit of Darshan /Aarti in the General queue, Sansthan Management Committee took a timely decision to start charging for the VIP passes so that more number of Devotees will be benefitted with Sai Baba’s Darshan in the General Queue . After implementing VIP Aarti/Darshan Passes on Chargeable Basis, there was a huge reduction in number of devotees availing the passes which made more and more Devotees coming in the General Queue. And now to reduce this demand for VIP Aarti/Darshan further, Sansthan Management Committee has decided to revise the charges for VIP Aarti/Darshan as below with effect from 1st of March 2016.
Till now VIP Darshan/Aarti passes were being issued through Online Service. The Holy Book Shri Sai Satcharitra based on Shri Sai Baba’s life history has got tremendous importance. This is one of the main book from Shri Sai baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi. This book is like Geeta, Jnaneshwari for all Sai Devotees. Shri.Govind Raghunath Dabolkar alias Shri.Hemadpant had written this book in ovi format. Later, Colonel Shri.M.B.Nimbalakar translated the same in simple Marathi language. Based on Shri Sai Satcharitra, Shri Sai Baba Sanshtan’s Public Relation officer (PRO) Shri. Mohan Jagannath Yadav had made brief translation & wrote “Shri Sai Charitra Darshan“ (Marathi) Book . M/s.Sterling Publishers from New Delhi have published this book in Hindi & English versions. In the year 2010, this book got awareness award by Dr.Dodiya Family. In the year 2014 a Special award was given by B.G.Rohmore Trust . Till date this book has been translated into many Indian languages such as Hindi, English, Gujarati, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi & Simhalese language from Sri lanka. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Organizes Free Kidney Stone Camp – Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) The Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Baji Rao Shinde informed media persons at a press conference held on Wednesday, 27th January 2016 that 59 Patients were treated and operated for Kidney stones at a Free Kidney Stone Camp organized in collaboration with well-known Uro Surgeon Dr.Ketan Shukla from Ahmedabad at Shri Sainath Hospital run under the auspices of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) between 22nd to 24th January 2016. Shri Sai Baba Hospital & Shri Sainath Hospital run by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi is regularly conducting various medical camps throughout the year. These camps are: Artificial Lens Implant Camp, Jaipur Foot (artificial leg) Camp, Plastic Surgery Camp, Homeopathic Camp, Arthritis and Joint Pain Camp, Laparoscopic Surgery for Ladies Camp, Diagnosis for all Diseases Camp, Nesam Endoscopy Camp, Cancer Detection Camp, Eye Cataract Surgery Camp, Squint Eyes Checking Camp and Lithotripsy Camp, Kidney Stone Camp etc.. In the recent free Kidney stone camp 21 patients were successfully operated with Sound waves (Lithotripsy) to remove small stones that measured around 1 to 1.5 cms. Medical Director Dr.Vijay Patil informed that service minded people who are interested to do Seva should be both physically & Mentally fit, should not have any Criminal background or Police Records against them & should provide No Objection Certificate issued by the Police Department. Free food & Tea twice a day will be provided for the volunteers who would like to participate in this service. Selection of Service Volunteers will be finalized after personal interview with the Medical Director. People who are willing to participate in this service will neither be included in the regular roles of Sansthan nor they will have any rights with respect to their work responsibilities. Gujarat Saint Shri Sairam Guruji successfully completes "Backward Walking" (Retropedaling) from Baruch to Shirdi - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Saint Shri.Sairam Guruji from Baruch, Gujarat successfully completed 560 KM of "Backward Walking" also known as Retropdaling from Baruch to Shirdi within 10 days and had darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi on Sunday, 3rd January 2016. Chief Public Relations Officer Shri.Mohan Jagannath Yadav was also present on the occasion.
Shri.Sairam Guruji is continuously peforming this "Backward Walking" from Baruch to Shirdi for the last 41 years four times a year during Shri Ramanavami, Guru poornima, Vijayadashmi and Datta Jayanthi Celebrations.
