Considering huge crowd that is expected during New Year to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba, the Samadhi Mandir will be kept open throughout the night on 31st December 2015. Shri.Shinde said that like every year, during Christmas and Year End Vacation and to welcome the arrival of New Year, there will be huge rush of devotees who come to Shirdi to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba. To manage the crowd very effectively and also to facilitate the darshan of Shri Sai Baba to all the devotees, Samadhi Mandir will be kept open throughout the night on 31st December 2015. Various cultural programmes have also been organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan on the evening of 31st December 2015. The programme details are as below: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Sai Bhajan Sandhya by Shri.Avaghesh Chandan Bharadwaj, Lucknow. During this time, Padayatris will be also allowed in General Queue to have Sai Baba’s Samadhi darshan. Well Known Sai Personality Shri.Sudhir G.Divadkar passes away – Source: Smt.Mugdha Sudhir Divadkar With profound grief we would like to inform the sudden demise of Well Known Sai Personality Shri.Sudhir G.Divadkar on 22nd December 2015, Tuesday at 11.25 a.m. due to Cardiac Arrest at Holy Saint Hospital, Andheri Mumbai. He was 68 years at the time of his death. He leaves behind his wife Smt.Mugdha Divadkar (author of the famous "Sainchyaa Saanidhyaat" Marathi book on Sai Mahabhaktas), two Sons, Daughters-in-law and two grand children.

Shri.Shinde informed media persons that with a view to create Curioisity in learning, improve General Knowledge, Self Confidence, Sportsmanship, logical thinking, ilistening ability, speaking, conversation, to develop Basic fundamental language skills and to create a platform for students, this Quiz competition has been organized. In this Competition questions will be covered upto 10th Standard and include subjects like Mathematics, General Knowledge, Language, Science, History, Geography, Civics, Sports & Current affairs. The eligibility criteria for participating in this Quiz Competition is that each group consisting of 3 students with 1 teacher as representative from the respective Junior College is mandatory. Tea, Snacks & food will be provided for the participants and the teachers. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Serves Free Prasad Bhojan to Devotees on 284 Days in the year 2015 - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) The Executive officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi Shri.Bajirao Shinde informed Media Persons at a Press Conference held on Thursday, 3rd December 2015, that the Free Prasad Bhojan Scheme at Shri Sai Prasadalay was started by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, due to the generous contributions from many philanthropic Sai Devotees.Under this Scheme, Free Prasad Bhojan was served on 261 days in the year 2014. This year i.e, 2015, Free Prasad Bhojan was served on 284 days. Shri Shinde added that the legacy of “Anna Daan” Service which was started by Shri Sai Baba during His sojourn, is being continued by Shri Sai Baba sansthan. Day by day the number of devotees flocking to Shirdi to have Shri Sai Baba’s Darshan is ever increasing. To provide smooth distribution of Prasad Bhojan for all the devotees Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust started a new Prasadalay complex in a 7 acre land owned by Sansthan at Neemgoan-Korhale Road. In this Prasadalay 5,000 devotees can have Prasad Bhojan at a time. On an average 36,000 devotees are having Free Prasad Bhojan per day and during Festival occasions, more than 75,000 devotees are being benefitted . Every year Around 1.5 crore devotees are benefitted because of the Free Prasad Bhojan Scheme at Sai Prasadalay. Therefore, to provide good quality food, Sansthan has given additional attention for the cleanliness at various places like Kitchen, Dining Room, Staff Uniforms, Premises of Prasadalay. Prasad Bhojan is drawing more devotees simply because they consider it is anna daan performed by by Shri Sai Baba Himself. Considering the Quality of food, Facilites & Cleanliness provided by Sai Prasadalay etc , ISO 9001-2008 certification was given to Sai Prasadalay in the year 2010. Similarly Transplastic Certification Limited ( TLC) has given ISO -22000-2005 (Food Safety Standard) Certificate. Central Renewable Power Ministry has recognized Sai Prasadalay’s Solar Steam Cooking Project as the biggest Solar system project in any Religious Institution in India. Shri. Shine also informed that Shri Sai Baba Sansthan is incurring a cost of Rs.25 for each Prasad Bhojan Plate. However, Sansthan is charging only Rs.10 for adults and Rs.5 for children below 10 years. Sansthan is offering 2 Bhaji, Rice and Varan(a kind of Sambaar) Chapati/Puri & Sweet made out of coconut for each Prasad Bhojan Plate. Sansthan is using high quality rice for Prasad Bhojan. As per the request made by Sai Devotees, Sansthan Management Committee decided to provide free Prasad Bhojan to the devotees at Sai Prasadalay. Shri Sai Baba's 97th Punyatithi Festival at Shirdi by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan - A Report - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) On the occasion of Shri Sai Baba's 97th Punyatithi Festival, on Tuesday, 20th October 2015, Dwarakamai Mandal from Mumbai re-created a grand replica of "Entrance of Sikkim Sai Mandir" in Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Temple Premises.
The first day of Shri Sai Baba’s 97th Maha Samadhi festival organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) commenced on Wednesday, 21st October 2015 in the morning with the procession of Shri.Sai Baba’s Photograph and Shri Sai Satcharitra Pothi in a grand manner. Dwarakami Mandali from Mumbai who have made a replica of "Sikkim Sai Temple Entrance" next to Museum caught the attention of all the Sai Devotees. The lighting arrangement added to the beauty of the replica.
21st October 2015, Wednesday being the first day of the festival, the programmes commenced with the procession of Shri Sai Baba’s Photograph and Shri Sai Satcharitra pothi at 5.a.m.from the Samadhi Mandir. The Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde, Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde, Administrative Officers, Staff & local villagers participated in the procession.
As soon as the procession entered Dwarakamai, Shri Sai Satcharitra Paryan was started. The Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde read the first chapter while the Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde read the second chapter.
To facilitate Akhanda Parayan, Dwarakamai was kept open the entire night on 21st October 2015. In the morning Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde and his wife Smt Seema Shinde performed Pada Pooja at Samadhi Mandir.
At 12.30 Madhyana Aarti was performed. At 4.00 p.m Kirtan programme by Shri.Chandrashekar Aatwale from Pandarpur was held. At 6.00 pm Dhoop Aarti was performed. From 7.30 pm to 9.00 p.m Kuchipudi Dance programme by Smt.N Rekha from Nityamala Academy of Indian Dance & Centre, Hyderabad was held at Sai Nagar Grounds. Similarly Between 9 pm to 10.30 pmSai Bhajan Programme by Shri.Gurudutt Shirali from Goa was held. After the programme Sansthan felicitated the invited artists on behalf of Sansthan. In the evening at 5 p.m Seemolanghan & Procession to Kandoba temple was performed. At 6.00 p.m. Dhoop Aarti was held. Between 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm Sai Mahima Gunagaan programme by Shri.Pandit Devraoji Kulmethe Maharaj, Nashik was held, Between 9 pm to 10.30 pm Devotional Songs by Pandit Dr.Parag Choudry, Aurangabad was held at Sai Nagar Grounds. There was a huge response to this programme from the audience. At 9.15 p.m Shri Sai Baba’s Chariot procession was held throughout the village and large crowd had participated in the procession. Due to the generous contribution from Sai devotees Free Prasad Bhojan was given to all sai devotees. Sai devotees Shri.Ashok Mirpuri, Mumbai, Dilip Raut & Prasad Raut from Sholapur donated Fire Extinquisher Vehicle worth Rs 31 Lakhs. Similarly Shri.Vikas Ahir from Surat Donated Cargo vehicle worth Rs 10 lakhs. Tri Member Committee President & Chief District Judge Shri.Shrikant. D. Kulkarni, Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri. Rudrabhisek at Gurusthan temple was performed by Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde and his wife Smt.Seema Shinde. At 10.00 a.m Gopal Kala kirtan by Shri.Chandrashekar Atwale was held. At 12.00 noonDahi Handi programme was held. Madhyana Aarti was performed at 12.10 p.m. At 6.00 p.m. Doop Aarti was performed. Between 7.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m Bharata Natyam programme by Shri.Sai Natya Bharati Academy, Vishakapattanam & between 9 pm to 10.30 pm Swaranjali Programme by Shri.Mahesh Prasad Ramakrishna Limay, Mumbai was held at Sai Nagar grounds.
On all 3 days free Prasad Bhojan was organized for the devotees at Sai Prasadalaya due to the generous contribution from various Sai devotees. Around 1 lakh 10 thousand Sai devotees were benefitted from the free Prasad Bhojan Scheme. In Darshan queue Free Ladu packets were distributed to around 1 lakh 50 thousand devotees. In the Bhiksha Joli programme organized on the main day of festival at 9.00 a.m., Local Villagers & Sai devotees contributed Rs 54,001 in the form of Cash & 76 bags consisting of various grains like Rice, Ragi and Wheat. Similarly, like every year on the occasion of Sai Baba's Maha Samadhi day, today there was a special Lunch arranged at Sai prasadalya from 10 a.m to 10 p.m for all Sai devotees & Villagers. On this occasion various cultural & religious programmes have been organized. On all the 3 days of festival there will be free prasad bhojan at Sai Prasadalaya with generous contribution from many Sai Devotees. Shri.Shinde said that celebrating the Mahasamadhi Day is a very sacred act and that when Satpurush and Saints took Samadhi their death anniversary is being celebrated as Mahasamadhi Day. Lakhs of devotees from different parts of world will throng shirdi on this day for taking Baba’s blessings. With a view to provide good facilities to the devotees in the temple complex and surrounding places, special Laddu Counters would be in place next to old Prasadalaya and Mobile Locker facility. Sansthan has put up tent (mantap) of 69,000 square feet at various places including Sansthan premises, old Pimpalwadi Road, Darshan Queue and foot path, 16 Gunats of space near Sai Complex, Sai Prasad building, Sai Nagar grounds etc. 24 hrs Electricity, Water and Security has been provided at all these places. Considering the onset of rains, at all these places, plastic sheets have been put on these tents. Big tents are put up in Sainagar grounds for the special programmes from the invited artistes. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan makes elaborate arrangements in view of Second Shahi Snaan at Kumbh Mela 2015 at Nasik - 5th Press Report - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde informed media persons at a press conference held on Monday, 14th September 2015, that during last 3 days on the occasion of 2nd Shai Snaan at Kumbhmela Nashik, 7 to 8 lakh devotees have taken darshan of Shri Sai Baba’s Samadhi in Shiridi and about 2.5 Lakh Free ladu packets were distributed at Darshan Queue. Shri.Shinde said that huge crowd was expected due to Sinhasta Kumbh Mela at Nasik especially during 2nd Shai snan on 13th September 2015. To bring Devotees from Parking lot no 6 & 7 upto Kandoba temple to reach opposite to BSNL office parking lot for the devotees coming from Ahmednagar & Pune direction 25 Private buses were arranged. Similarly for the devotees coming from Nashik, Kopargoan & Manamad, From Parking lot no 2 & 4, from there onwards to reach upto Laksmi Nagar, & Parking lot opposite to Hotel Abhishek 20 private buses were arranged. Overall 68 buses (45 private buses and 23 buses from Sansthan) were arranged for this purpose. In each Parking lot, Mini Buses from Sansthan was used to bring Blind, Handicapped & physically challenged devotees. During last 3 days about 5 lakh devotees have used this facility. Similarly 8,995 vehicles were parked in all the available parking lots. To provide Prasad Bhojan facility for all the devotees, Prasad Bhojan was arranged at Sai Prasadalay, Shri Sainath Hospital, Shri Saibaba Bhaktinivas (500 Rooms) Dwarawati Bhakti Niwas, Sai Ashram Bhaktinivas etc. Around 1 lakh 25 thousand devotees got benefitted from this free Prasad Bhojan. Similarly for cleaning the places from Sai Ashram Bhaktiniwas to Lakshmi Nagar, Nagar Manmad Road & Pimpalwadi Road, gate no 1 to Sainath Mangal Karyalay, 40 people have been deployed to work in 2 shifts. In Night Shift 36 persons have been deployed for the purpose of cleaning. Besides this, at all the above places medicines and insecticides will be sprayed. Shri.Jadhav said that Dr.Chandrabhanu Satpathy (Guruji) has played a pivotal role in imparting & spreading Shri Sai Baba’s teachings and Life history in India and all over the world.He has written many books based on holy Shri Sai Satcharita. Dr.Satpathy, who was an IPS officer from 1983 batch, has served as Professor at Delhi University for some time. He has also served in important positions in Uttar Pradesh under various Central Government Services. He retired from service as the Director General of Police (DGP) in the year 2008. He came to Baba’s fold and became his staunch devotee in the year 1989. He stayed in Shirdi for quiet a long time and learnt a lot on Sai Satcharita. He got involved in Baba’s work and built first Sai temple in Chennai and from there onwards has played an important role in building 230 Sai Temples all over the World. On 24th June 2015, addressing the American Congress Session at Washington he highlighted the importance of Humanity and Sai Baba’s Secularism & Shri Sai Baba’s Important comprehensive teaching “ Sab ka Malik Ek “. But as per our tradition, lot of importance has been attached to performing Sai Satynarayana Pooja during the month of Shravana. Hence, the Medicine Manufacturing Companies which have created monopoly has informed Sansthan that they will offer the same cost for purchase of medicines and surgical instruments. But from this year Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav is focussing on calling Government Tenders for procurement of medicines and surcial instruments. There will be set terms and conditions as per the Government rule with stipulated time limit for procuring medicines. While procuring medicines from other companies, the Government Hospitals will compare the medicines from differnet local companies for the lowest price offered by them without necessarily compromising on the quality by taking feedback from the doctors and only then select the companies. By following this process, the monopoly of the local companies will be totally stopped. Going forward, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan run Hospitals will also follow the same procedure for procuring the medicines and surgical instruments. In the event, a new company from a new location stars supplying medicine to Sansthan Hospitals, Sansthan will call for their demonstration, their experience and exposure at other places where they have supplied their product will be reveiwed and not but not the least, the price of medicine will be checked. In case of laboratory department, the companies had made a thumb rule that Sansthan Hospitals should purchase medicines from the same comapnies from whom the kits and machines were purchased. Mr.Jadhav opined that once Sansthan starts buying from the new companies, the existing companies who have created Monopoly will be forced to reduce their prices. Hence,Sansthan has decided to buy drugs from places where lowest price is being offered than the government tender prices. Guru Poornima Celebration 2015 – A Report – Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Guru Poornima festival 2015 organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) began on Thursday, 30th July 2015 on a very enthusiastic note with Sai devotees from all over Maharashtra and other states coming with large number of Palanquins. In this year Guru Poornima, about 50 palanquins were present in Shirdi. This year the Shri Sai Baba Palanquin Event Committee had taken special attention of all the Palanquins that came from Pune to Shirdi. Shirdi town wore a festive look and reverberated with the sound emerging from the drums that accompanied the Palanquins. Due to the generous contribution from Shri.Gautam Sahini & Shri Anup Joshi from Delhi flower decoration was made at Samadhi Mandir and surrounding areas. On the occasion of first day of Guru Poornima festival, procession of Saibaba's Portrait, Idol, Veena and the holy Sai Satcharitra were taken out on 30th July 2015, Thursday. On the the occasion of 2nd day and main day of Gurupoornima festival on Friday, 31st July 2015, lakhs of devotees came from different places from State & Country and had darhsan of Baba’s Samadhi.

Between 11.00 pm to 5 am Sai Bajan programme by invited devotee singers was held on the Samdhi Mandir Dias. 31st July 2015, Friday being main day of the festival, Samadhi Mandir was kept open throughout the entire night for Darshan. On the occasion of Gurupoornima festival 5 temples - namely Gurusthan Temple, Shani Temple, Ganapathi Temple , Mahadev Temple and Nanda Deep Temple has been covered with Gold plating due to the generous contribution of Sai Bhakt Vijay Kumar. Shri.Jadhav said that to provide accommodation to Sai devotees who are coming from different parts of the State and the Country and also to accommodate the Palkhi’s coming from Mumbai to Shirdi and Pune to Shirdi, Shamiyaana will be put up at different locations like Temple premises, Sai Prasada Bhakta Nivas car parking area. This season being the rainy season, all these Shamiyaana’s have been covered with plastic sheets. Free accommodation for the padayatris coming with palki has been arranged at Sai Ashram- Phase 2. The Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav has requested all devotees to participate in large numbers and make the festival a grand success. Shri.Jadhav told media persons that the Guru-Shishya ( Teacher and Disciple) relationship is being practiced all over the world from time immemorial and to express gratitude to our Guru, Poornima day of Ashada month is being celebrated as Guru Poornima Festival. During Baba’s sojourn in Shirdi, Guru Poornima was celebrated in a very grand manner. Similarly even today the same importance is given to this festival. Every year during this festival, countless number of devotees flock to shirdi and have darshan of Shri Sai Baba’s Samadhi . The details of this year celebrations are as follows: Please find below the 3 day programme schedule: 1st Day – Thursday, 30th July 2015 4:30 am -Sai Baba’s Kakad Aarti Dwarkamai will be kept open throughout the night for Akhanda Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan. 2nd Day – Main Day – Friday, 31st July 2015 4:30 am -Sai Baba’s Kakad Aarti This day being the main day of the festival, Samadhi Mandir will remain open throughout the entire night for Darshan. Hence, there will be no Shej Aarti on this day. Eventually there will be no Kakad Aarti on the next day i.e., Sunday, 1st August 2015. From 11:00 pm to 5:00 am next day early morning, there will be Sai Bhajan programmes by invited devotee singers on Samadhi Mandir Dias. 3rd Day – Last Day – Saturday, 1st August 2015 5:05 am -Sai Baba’s Mangal Snan & Darshan begins Those who are interested to participate in the Akhanda parayan of Shri Satcharitra at Dwarkamai on the first day are requested to register their names at Samadhi Mandir Dias on 29th July 2015 between 1 pm to 5 pm. On the same day at 5.30 pm devotees names will be selected by lucky draw method. On all the three days of the festival, no Aarti / darshan passes will be issued by Public Relations Office. Admission to Shri Sai Baba Junior College and Shri Sai Baba Industrial Training Institute – A Press Release Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) The Management of Shri Sai Baba Junior College and Shri Sai Baba Industrial Training Institute have issued a joint Press Release on Sunday, 28th June 2015 regarding Admission to Academic Year 2015-16. The Management of Shri Sai Baba Junior College has decided to issue 240 seats each under Arts, Commerce & Science in all 720 seats for both Reservation & Merit Category for the 11th Standard Admiision for the academic year 2015-16. As per the Government Order on Admissions, 10% of Seats are reserved for Merit Category under the management quota. Starting this year, the admission to ITI will be done through online system as per Government Regulations at Shri Sai Baba Industrial Training Institute. The Management Committee has decided to keep 20% of seats on merit basis under the Government intermediate Entrance Process . Out of which 70% of the quota of seats will be reserved for local students of Rahata Taluk. With effect from this academic year as per Government Rules, the Admission Fees is going to increase by 2.5 times i.e., by about 30,000 rupees. However Shri Sai Baba Sansthan ITI Management Committee has decided not to increase the admission fees at Shri Sai Baba ITI. This gesture of the management will help the poor and needy students to get admission easily. For the remaining seats under Management Quota, as per Government Regulations, for both Reserved and Merit Seats first preference will be given for Local Students. In this camp 53 patients were operated. Shri.Jadhav informed that free cataract surgery camp was organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) in association with Lions Club of Shirdi at Shri Sainath Hospital from 29th April 2015 to 30th April 2015. In this camp, Eye Specialist Dr.Sunil Sontakke successfully performed cataract surgery on 53 needy and poor patients from villages in and around Shirdi. No change in Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Super Specialty Hospital schedule due to fire accident– Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri. Rajendra Jadhav informed media persons that due to the fire accident at Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Super Specialty Hospital on Friday, 10th of April 2015, there will be no change in the day to day activities of Shri Sai Baba Super specialty hospital. Shri. Jadhav said that there was a fire accident in the Operation Theatre in Shri Sai Baba Super specialty Hospital on Friday, 10th April, 2015 and that till now there was no data available regarding the extent of loss occurred due to damage to the Machinery and the Medical Records in the operation theatre due to the tragic incident. To ascertain the extent of data loss that has occurred, Sansthan has intimated the related machinery specialists. However, Shirdi Police Station and the Hospital Staff have collected relevant details pertaining to this incident and if required the details will be provided for the concerned people. Shri.Jadhav said that due to this tragic incident, there was no effect in the services of operation theatre as alternate arrangements were made for conducting the operations scheduled for that day. For the patients who had received date for the operation on that fateful day, the operation was performed on the same day without any change in the schedule. Change in Aarti and Darshan Timings due to Lunar Eclipse on Saturday, 4th April 2015 – Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Chief Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav informed media persons at a press conference held on Wednesday, 1st April 2015 that due to Kagrasa Chandra Grahana (Lunar Eclipse) on Saturday, 4th April 2015, between 3.30 p.m to 7.15 p.m, there will be minor changes in Aarti and Darshan timings. Shri .Jadhav said, Like every year Hanuman Jayanthi will be celebrated at Shri Maruti Mandir on Saturday, 4th April 2015. On this day, due to Kagrasa Chandra Grahana (Lunar eclipse), there will be a small change in Samadi Mandir programmes. At 3.30 pm darshan queue will be stopped for 15 minutes. Between 3.45 to 7.15 pm there will be Mantrochhar (Reciting of Mantras) by Sansthan Purohits. During this time devotees are not allowed inside the Samadi Mandir. During Grahana time devotees will be allowed to have Shri Sai Baba’s darshan near Nandi and they will exit from South facing door. After Mantrochhar there will be Mangalsnaan for Shri Sai Baba at 7.25 p.m. At 7.35 p.m there will Shirdi Majhe Pandarpura Chota Aarti. At 7.45 pm Dhoop Aarti will be performed and Darshan will start as usual. At 10.30 pm Baba’s Shej Aarti will be performed. Sri Ramanavami Celebration 2015 at Shirdi – A Report – Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi Shri Ramanavami utsav organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan started on a very good note on Friday, 27th March 2015.The entire Shirdi town reverberated with huge Sai Naam Jaykar from lakhs of Sai devotees who came along with Palanquins from various places of Maharashtra and different parts of the country and took Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi darshan in this festival which was started by Shri Sai Baba himself. On the first day of the festival, after the morning Kakad Aarti, procession of Saibaba's Portrait, Idol, Veena and the holy Sai Satcharitra were taken out upto Dwarkamai. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Chief Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav carried the sacred Pothi Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde & Mandir’s Chief Shri.Navnath Kote carried Baba’s photographs. Sansthan’s Purohit Shri.Narayan Bise carried the Veena and participated in the procession.
After the procession reached Dwarkamai Akhanda Shri Sai Satcharitra parayan was started. Chief Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav read the 1st Chapter, Deputy Executive Officer Shri. Appa Saheb Shinde read the 2nd chapter.
Earlier in the morning Baba’s Pada Pooja was performed with due religious custom and tradition by the Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav and his wife.
Shri Dwarkamai Mandali, Mumbai erected a huge structure and also decorated the Samadhi Mandir and surrounding places with colourful lightings. There was a huge crowd to see this wonderful creation by Shri Dwarakamai Mandali.
Today being the first day of Shri Ramanavami utsav, Dwarakamai was kept open throughout the night for darshan and Akhanda Parayan. There was a very good response for the programme of Kumbharati Dance by Dr.V.Y. Acharya from Secundrabad, & Musical SAI Katha programme by H.B.P Sainath Maharaj Rahane from Bahadarpur at Sai Nagar Grounds Anticipating huge crowd turnout, proper arrangements were made by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan to avail darshan for all the devotees. Drinking water facility had been arranged in the queue complex. Due to the generous contributions from ananymous Sai Devotees, a new Air Conditioner worth Rs.90 Lakhs which was installed at the Samadi Mandir was inaugurated by Shri. Vinay Joshi and his wife Smt.Revathi Joshi. After Kakad Aarti, Akhanda parayan of Shri Sai Satcharitra was completed at Dwarakamai. The holy book of Shri Sai Satcharitra pothi was brought from Dwarakamai in procession along with Baba’s Photograph and Veena via Gurusthan to Samadhi Mandir. In this procession Sansthan’s Tri member committee Chairman & Chief District & Sessions Court Judge Shri.Vinay Joshi & His wife carried Pothi, Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav & Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appa Saheb Shinde carried Baba’s Photo & Mandir Chief Shri.Navnath Kote carried the Veena.
Jala Abhishek was performed to the Samadhi and Idol of Shri Sai Baba at the Samadhi Mandir with the sacred water brought from Godavari river in Kavdi (Vessel to carry/pour water) by over 3000 devotees. In the morning at 10:30 a.m. Shri.H.B.P.Vikram Nandedkar performed the Kirtan on the birth of Lord Shri Rama. At noon before Madhyanha Aarti new flag pooja was performed by the descendants of Sai Mahabhakta Late Shri.Rasne & Late Shri.Nana Saheb Nimonkar in a ritualstic way & at 4:00 p.m. the Flag’s Procession was conducted. At 5:00 p.m. Baba’s Chariot Procession was taken around Shirdi village. In this procession large number of devotees participated. Due to the generous contributions from Sri.Vivani Raichaudri, Sri.Bhudmal,Shri.Surendra Tulashi Kamal Dugar, Kolkata, Shri.Virendra Sundaram New Delhi, Smt.Sai Villi Shreeja Sudish Bangalore, Smt.Bharati Shirgurkar Bangalore, free Prasad Bhojan had been organized to all devotees at Sai Prasadalay. There was an attractive flower decoration in and around Sansthan Temple Complex due to the generous contribution by Indo Rama Synthetics from Nagpur, and a big lighting decoration at the entrance near Gurusthan & temple premises by Dwarkamai Mandali from Mumbai attracted the special attention of Sai Devotees.
28th March 2015, Saturday, being the main day of the Shri Ramnavami Utsav Samadhi Mandir was kept open throughout the night for darshan. Lakhs of devotees had darshan of Shri Sai Baba.

Conclusion of Ramnavmi Utsav which was started on Friday, 27th March 2015 by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) was done with Kalyachi Keertan (to mark the end/ Conclusion) by Shri.H.B.P Vikram Maharaj Nandedkar in a very Joyful environment. A Sai Devotee from Bangalore Shri.Shailesh Patil generously donated a Chapati Making Machine worth Rs.18 Lakh to Sai Prasadalaya. The Chapati Making Machine was inagurated after the ritualistic pooja by Sasnthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav and his wife Smt.Sarita Jadhav. This Automatic machine has a capacity of making 3000 chapati’s per hour. With the installing of this Machine, more and more Chapati’s will be made avaialbe instead of puri at Sai Prasadalaya.
Earlier in the morning Rudrabhishek was performed by Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav at Gurusthan Temple.

To enable comfortable stay for Padayatris who came to Shirdi along with Palanquins, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan administration had made free staying arrangements in Sai Ashram-2. On the main day of the festival i.e., on Saturday,28th March 2015, around 70,000 devotees were served with free prasad bhojan at Sai prasadalaya. A Seminar was being organized on Wednesday, 18th March 2015 at 2 PM at Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Meeting Hall which was presided by the Member of National Commission for House Keeping Staff Shri Vijay Kumar. All the House Keeping Staff of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan, the Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav, Deputy Executive Officer Shri. Appasaheb Shinde, Administrative Officers Shri.Bahusaheb Sable, Shri.S.N Gharkal,Shri.S.V.Ghame, Shri.D.T.Ugale, Shri.U.P.Gondkar and Chief of Medical Department Shri.Pandurang Kavde participated in the seminar. To keep Sansthan and Sansthan’s premises clean and tidy, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has kept 377 House Keeping Staff on both temporary and permanent basis. 667 House Keeping Staff have been hired on Contract Basis from an outsource agency. On the occasion of New Year Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir and the Campus were beautifully decorated with Flowers and Colourful Lights with the donation of Shri.Anil Kumar from Bangalore.
